On your second fight, you should have used silver banshee to tag out the opponents when they are immortal so you don't waste time. You can be attacking the next character while the immortality ticks away. That way you aren't taking unnecessary damage waiting for it to pass.

It's one of the passive buffs when you upgrade your OPs
You have to upgrade the paranormal facility (arcane class facility not the outposts) to level 31 and then equip the modifiers that say they add dot and hazard dot on crits
