Hi my babes! I am back and super excited to share this little project that I worked on for my baby girl's nursery. Being that it will be my first girl, I am beyond excited for all things pink and girly as you can see! For this DIY I took a trip to Joanne's and the Dollar Tree. I also used supplies that I already had on hand. I'm going to guesstimate I spent around $30 or less for this project. I spent about $19 at Joanne's and Dollar Tree specifically for this and guesstimating the cost for what I already had. From Joanne's including sales and coupons: 57" Embroidery Hoop $3.92 Mesh Netting Fabric 4 yards $8.00 Crystals $5.12 Dollar Tree: Wreath $1.00 Pink Rose Bundle $1.00 Supplies I had on hand: Higher quality flowers Ribbon Diamond Wrap Not too bad for something that came out so pretty and I can say I made it! This is soooooo pretty!!!!!!! You did awesome! On that seam if you want to glue some ribbon instead of cutting it to give it a finished look in the front. It looks so girly I love it!!!😃😃

I wouldn’t trim the fabric it kind of gives it that ruffle look... it came out sooooo good and I love the mobile it looks perfect! So excited to see more!!!!
Hey!! This turned out beautiful!!! I want to make this for my baby but I cannot find the embroidery hoop that big 😭😭😭😭 would you have a link as to where I can order it online please
For the edges of that mesh fabric you could take a thick white or cream colored ribbon and glue it with fabric glue. Half on the top side, fold it over and glue the other half of it on the inside of the edge to make it look more finished. If you chose cream it would help tie in the flowers a bit more too. Just a suggestion. It's beautiful either way.
I was going to use a hula hoop but idk how I can do the ribbon if I only have one hoop where u have two. One for the ribbon and one for the mesh fabric. Any ideas?

Thanks girl, I appreciate that! Well...we are kind of stuck lol. My husband wants a variation of Mila. I want Kamilah, but they don't. The boys want Milani and it's one we may be leaning on. Milani Rose...but not for sure lol.

I found with my own kids, that the more involved you let them be with things like choosing a name...the more receptive they are to everything else that comes along with baby. I think about you all the time. I know you're always busy and didn't want to bother you. It has been nice being able to see your progress.

Can you tell me how did you hang the canopy? I am tried to do that in my baby's room and facing so many challenges. tell me the exact hardware used here please
So I just figured out that she measured her hoop wrong. She measured the circumference and that was 57 inches but the diameter is 18 so she has an 18inch embroidery hoop. They don't make a 57inch embroidery hoop because they measure the hoops using diameter. I bought an 18inch hoop and it worked perfectly!!
So pretty, if it was me even though I can’t see the back Mobil it would bug the hell out of me if it’s not all the same. It’s just me, cuz i like every to look perfect. You did a great job

You can use dots of fabric glue to cover those crooked cut edges with a pretty, narrow lace or satin ribbon.

I just used a cup hook and hung it from the looped ribbon.
Thanks for the reply. I tried this but it could not hold from ceiling. I am so disappointed I am unable to hang mine.
