Thank you! I thought it wasn't working and then realized I was viewing as "details" and needed to change to medium icons, the same as I would to view a jpeg! This will make searching so much easier!
Oh thank you for the follow up. I did leave a message at the site also but no response yet. You are the quicker responder. :-) Thanks so much.. I look forward to hearing from you when there is a fix.
To those who are having problems getting it to work.... - Please double check and make sure that you are downloading the correct version for YOUR computer....(i386) for 32 bit or (x64) for 64 bit systems - Make sure after installing the plug-in and trying to view your SVG's in a folder that you go to the top left corner (inside the folder where your svg's are located), click VIEW and choose LARGE ICONS. This will set your view to "picture view"
Tried to download this for Windows 10, 64 bit; received a message that said, "The signature of dssee_setup_x64_v011_signed.exe is corrupt or invalid." Is this something that can be fixed?? Thanks.
thank you so much. With window 7 I had to use the 64 bits something. And I have a question for you... do you mind if I do a french video for my viewers in french and I will put your link for my english viewers. thank you to answer my question
Lynnette Cyparski , I also have Windows 10 and I just downloaded it and this did not work for me is there any hints or things that you could help me to make this work what I might be doing wrong
Thanks for the video !!!! I'll be making mine on this week.... Also I come from Ottawa, Ontario and I'm surprise that you don't have a Michaels in Toronto.... We have 6 or 7 stores in Ottawa, Thanks again for the video !!
I have been trying for days to get this to work but nothing. I have many SVG & FCM files which show just white blanks or some have the "e" on and some have the chrome icon but none showing the picture of that file. Any advice please.
Hmm no idea. I have Vista 32 bit and I double checked I can see all my .svg's. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling? If you look under Control Panel (classic view) / Programs and Features - the locate "SVG Explorer Extension". You can uninstall that and then download/reinstall the plug-in. Make sure it is the one that ends in signed.exe (64 or 32 bit). Good luck, let me know how it goes =)
Hello. I downloaded this with no problem, but where are my SVG files. Can't see them anywhere. Am I suppose to transfer them this file or what....I'm so confused.
Hi Just tried to install but it didn't ask me to save it just went to run, then install. So I did it and it didn't work. Have wind 7 and using google chrome. Went into extensions to see if it needed to be enabled but it didn't even show there. Any suggestions??
I believe this is a known issue with XP and SP3. If you click the link above...where the download was...there is also a tab that says "Issues". It is where people report bugs and solutions. I believe yours is issue 4. I am not sure there is a solution to it yet...but it is a known bug. I will make an annotation in the video about it, and I will try to search for an alternative for people who have XP and SP3 =) Will let you know when I find one.
I don't know why it won't install on my computer. I have Windows XP 2002 version with SP3. When I go to run the setup for the SVG plug in I get this message: Unable to register the DLL/OCX: Regsvr32 failed with exit code 0x3 I have no idea what to do. HELP. Please.
I did the 1st one on the list for the 64 bit system and nothing happened, then I did the 2nd one on the list for 64 bit system and it worked like a charm.
I had set the open with default to Illustrator. I had to turn the default open with back to IE in order for this to work. Little bit inconvenient, I still have to to right click to edit Illustrator, but at least I can see the thumbnails.
