The one thing that really surprises me is how you managed to do screen effects in turbowarp or smth, and that scares me lol All I gotta say is, its a perfect vhs sans game lol
You know what the crazy part is? The entire game was made in the scratch and turbowarp engine. Can you believe it? That a lot of work gone into the game lots and lots of blocks was use for this game 10/10

Expert tip: Canon and Fanon version are both canon because is depending of the reality. Here is why: In real life: VHS when he is in real life he is strong as Nightmare (Counting the 3 phases), he has classic Sans's basic attacks, witch are: Bones, blue bones, telekinesis, and Gaster Blasters. But he also has other attacks, witch are: Orange bones, hand beam and in phase 3, laser eyes. He can grab the slash, only the slash from people that does slashes for attacking. Like Killer, X-Chara, humans with determination, etc. And as you can tell he regenerates himself in the phase transition. Also, don't forget those arms in the chase of phase 2. The phase 3 is the same aspect as you see here with normal Sans height In game: This is where fandom got confused. VHS has the powers as mentioned in the version of In Real Life, BUT when he is INSIDE a game he has the control of all that is in the game. The sprites, the audio, the rules and the code. In short words: EVERYTHING. So that is why inside of a game he is stronger than William (Error404), because he can manipulate anything he wants. Since he is in a game, he can also manipulate HIS code. So that is why in phase 3 he is massive. Conclusion: And this is the reason fandom thinks VHS is stronger that William. What happends is that the fandom didn't noticed VHS has that power in a game, not in real life. BTW: BossHim, your game has passed my expectatives. When VHS Sans broke his skull in phase 1, i almost peed myself. And in phase 3, when the screen of the classic game appeared but he broke the fourth wall to show that face... OH MY GOD! That was REALLY scary!!! Awesome game!

Like ZERO of it is canon, VHS is weaker than Murder Sans and barely stronger than LB, he’s a corrupted file and can only grab sprites meaning he’s NOWHERE near Error404’s level of power, he CAN’T go into the real world but he can grab players and pull them inside the game and the longer he uses his second or third phase his vision gets blurry and difficult since his eyes are melting upwards. And Fanon and Canon AREN’T both Canon, only the version by Iamaboss is.

One critique I have is that during phase 3 sometimes when you press space to heal it doesn’t and there’s so much happening on screen it’s impossible to stay alive and get all the documents
feedback: great use of vhs vibes are great and i like how this branches off a commonly forgotten part of the game, unlike other fan games where it seems to pick up from no where sans personality is off in this game, capitalised text, actual effort rather then apathy and lack of slang textures for gaster blaster are goofy
Ok look, I don't know anything else about VHS yet, so take my words lightly, but.. The writing is kinda corny, the character design is trying way too hard to seem scary to a fault, and the gameplay seems very unfun to play due to the insane difficulty. ...but literally none of that matters because everything here was done SO INSANELY WELL. Every bit of detail and art looks incredible, the music sync was unexpected but very welcome, and WOW did that last phase look incredible. I didn't mention half the things I thought were great here, but it really speaks for itself. BH knows how to take a pretty lame idea for an AU and turn it into a masterpiece. Incredible work here as always.
