Every time I hear this song I'm reminded of that moment - it gives me chills and sometimes even makes me tear up. Anyway. The Dec show had about 200 people, it was packed but comfortable. The March show will depend more on how many fans will show up for the main act. You should be fine, as long as you get your ticket in advance. The Troubadour is a beautiful place.
If you're interested in live music, an app like Bandsintown lets you track your favorite acts. You get notified as soon as a new gig is announced, and you have a link to buy the ticket. When you buy in advance you have some fees extra, like $5 on a $25 ticket. In my experience it's necessary, though, because in Los Angeles shows often sell out, and you don't want to travel all the way and find out there are no tickets. Good luck!
Saw City of the Sun last night 4.7.17 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Fantastic show. Packed, sold out house. Dynamo group. You stand there in awe of just how good they are at their craft. Wish I was already at their next concert. Go see them sometime!
