This experience was so surreal and seeing myself last year as opposed to this year is so eye opening. I want to thank @cbstv & @melrobbins for documenting this moment and reminding me that with hard work, you can come a long way. A strict culture, a traditional egyptian family, and the fact that social media isn’t considered a career in my family didn’t stop me. I looked crazy back then, and people thought it was a phase but I stuck to my feelings and passion and worked my ass off night and day on content. I learned how to edit, shoot, and created something out of nothing. I believed in this content and making people laugh with a purpose. I wouldn’t want to have shared this experience/stage with anyone other than my mom, my ride or die, who just hopped on this crazy train with me even when it didn’t make sense to her (it still kinda doesn’t make sense to her lol). But because she saw I was passionate and obsessed, she’s been by my side. And last but not least, to everyone who watches, supports, and reposts my content I’m eternally grateful to you guys. Thank you ❤️#wejustgettingstarted

Just the other day she came out of her bedroom walking down the hall huffing and puffing like she has exhausted herself . She walks up to me at the other end of the hall and leans against the wall. Look up at me over the rims of her glasses with sad puppy eyes and says with a Hispanic accent" I'm going to die ." Because she's in pain 24 - 7she hardly sleeps I say" Mom you can't die your too feisty." She said " I'm going to die soon!". I say to her " Mom u can't die!" She says "WHY I CAN'T DIE!!" I said to her " IF U DIE ! SATAN WILL REPENT AND GOD IS NOT READY FOR BOTH OF U UP THERE IN HEAVEN!" I said that to get her mind off the pain. Her eyes came to life and She replied "you son of ----- your no son of mine as she flips me off with her crooked arthritic finger and a bullet not huffing and puffing any more..she was a pistol going everywhere and that was at 730am at about 4PM she says to me " you know I love you " with a hug . Well I hope enjoy a little about mine family...cya =))
