- Here's a look at a brand-new MSC Air Cargo 777-F (N709GT), which was delivered just three days earlier. It's taking off for Anchorage from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
This is an excerpt from Sunday's live Runway DFW broadcast:

5Y Baby!!! ❤
She's beautiful! The lighting was perfect. Thanks Walt!
Walking into work I saw this beauty taking off. Very clean plane, till i found out it was brand new.. What a catch!
Nice catch, Walt. I once got to fly on the first revenue flight of a United 777-200. Even more impressive than the new plane smell is how very clean it was inside. Everything is so bright when it hasn't been covered with scuff marks from roller bags!
That is one beauty of a plane! New ones are always exciting!
Funnily enough, at the time I post this comment that same bird is back at DFW, and heading to Indianapolis, hope she becomes a regular visit
Certainly a beautiful livery for a cargo carrier. 👍🏼
Welcome to DFW!
Operated by Atlas air!
Beautiful capturing ❤
Great camera work Walt!
Looks great! I wonder if it has that "new plane smell"
Oh, it does!👃

Cool
MSC is Operated by Atlas Air.
Yes, could finally see the legend on the front of the plane upon playback (but not while live!). I did check your page to see if you'd captured a test or the delivery of this bird; looks like you got N707GT about a year ago!
Awesome ❤
Walt, MSC has begun regular scheduled service to DFW. This shouldn't be just for the holidays. You should see it Monday Wednesday and Thursdays
Thanks, always happy to see some new carriers at DFW!
It’s operated by Atlas
MSC is short for Mediterranean Shipping Company. One of, if not the largest, container ship fleet operator with about 790 vessels and now also doing air cargo.
Thanks so much for the additional info!
It's so beautiful camera work!!
btw, is this air plain called "Atlas Air"? (Unfortunately, am not native speaker so not good at to hearing English.)
@ Thank you for your kind comment. Atlas Air is the company that operates aircraft for MSC Air Cargo.
@ Oh, really!?
I didn’t know that. Thank you for teach me!!😊
You need to go check out the new warehouses and parking lots across from 35R. On the Irving side of the airport, on valley view lane, across dorris park. The Centerline of the runway is only 500ft away from the fence from what I've measured in google maps, and in north flow during the evenings I've gotten some amazing views and it's hard to get closer to the action.
Thanks, will check! The location might not be suitable for a live broadcast, however, if only one runway can be viewed.
@@RunwayDFW it's worth scoping out at least. But it's the only runway visible. But in north flow it is hard to get any closer to the action than that. The parking lots are at a slightly higher elevation than the runway and fences too so you could get nice long unobstructed shots of the approach if they're in South flow
Will a 210mm lens be enough for planespotting from DFW founder's plaza? Thank you for the help
Yes! You should be able to get some good shots with that much zoom; smaller planes will be fully in frame at that focal length at their closest point (assuming south flow, when traffic is coming in from the north), and you'll have to pick which part of the aircraft you want to take in for the widebodies. Good luck!
woah, i am here after hearing news that this aircraft was involved in a hail strike. the damage on the nose is pretty bad
That plane is so new it still has paper license plates
😂👍✈️
Heck yeah! Hook 'em horns!
