Here are some updates to this video for the latest version of Grasshopper: 1.) To hide or turn off capsules or components, select the capsule then right click and select preview from the flyout menu 2.) Rotating scribbles is now done by selecting the scribble and holding down the Ctrl or Shift key. 3.) The most important update replaces cross reference for the polar array at the 40:25 minute mark of the video. Instead of right-clicking and selecting cross reference, you should right-click on the G input (geometry) of the rotate capsule and select graft. 3B.) An easier alternative to the Polar Array setup in this video is to replace the Series. Radians and Rotate capsules with the new Polar Array capsule.
Great video! I appreciate that you created such an instructive video. It is clear and easy to follow. I am new to grasshopper. I enjoyed watching your tutorial. Thanks so much! I hope you will continue to post!
Cross-referencing is now its own component, no longer available with just a right click from a pop up menu. Cross-referencing has been updated with options. Could you update this tutorial to include this new feature or respond with next steps? Cross-referencing is key and it is more powerful and more complicated. I'd like some help with this. Thanks.
Hi, I have some problem on the very last step where when I right click the radiants, there were no selection of cross reference. Will you able to help me on that?
CrossReference has its own node now...you need to connect the Radian R to A (input) and A output to Rotate V "A" then connect Ln V column to B input of the crossreference node and the Ln of Double V Column to that same B then B output to G of Rotate V - Hope this helps
