No matter what the result on Disturbeds post hiatus album efforts and how I feel about them as a whole, there is always at least one song that makes them absolutely worth the existence. And this is the one for “Divisive” . What a song.

The main thing about it all is to define WHO is really a bad man and who is only the one to be blamed instead of the real bad man. Because a mass of blind people never knowing who is who ARE a reason why coward bow to the demands of the bad ones.
Current western society has plenty to select from, the WHO / WEF freaks , nearly all the politicians and the various billionaire philantropes, they all qualify without a doubt.
I’m curious if any of these songs are inspired by both observation and scripture. I understand David Draiman is Jewish and am curious about if the Talmud and/or Tanakh (Old Testament in Christianity) has any sort of way inspiring these songs. I just think it’s interesting
I see this song in two lights: the light shining on political corruption and the light shining on people who wrong you spreading rumours and such. I’m more in touch with the light shining on the rumours as people tend to hate for whatever reason and couple that with wanting to spread nonsense, whether true or not (but if true does it still apply?) and laugh about it.
