I just bought a new 25 Litre variant. However this makes a continuous 'tik tik' sound which seems coming from the body when I turn it on. The sound continues throughout the process and also for some more time when its turned off. I understand the thermostat sound going of and on at intervals, but this is different. Is this normal, or its a defect? Does this need service? I have hardly used it!. Need help on this.
I didn't know about the device but the tik tik noise is made by thin metal sheets used in the oven when heated. The similar sound could be heard from the bike silencer. It's typical from contracting metal sheets during the cooling phase in this case I think sound is heard when the thermistor or sensor cuts the power when the oven attains required temperature. The main reason I guess is the use of thin sheet metal 😂.
Why can't I turn on the convection mode while baking in my 36 litre OTG? Convection mode works fine with roast mode but not with bake mode, why so? Also can someone guide me how to turn off either the upper rods or the lower rods?
You can open door but please remember every time you open door the heat will escape from chamber and the food may not be cooked properly. You may want adjust cooking time accordingly
Actually convection mode is required for big capacity otgs so that the heat can be distributed throughout the otg. It is of no use in small capacity otgs.
This is the best otg ive ever used.. Its very easy to operate nad perfect results

Once the dish has done, is there need to press the stop button or we have to switch off the main plug only?
You dont need to press stop button it will already stop with a buzzer when timming is done. You then just need to switch off the main plug
