One thing with khalida as well is that ushabti great bows can shoot down the tower instead of the skull catapult. They're actually better at it and the catapult is much more efficient at killing the infantry behind the wall

(main dark elves here) => dark elves got 99% of their roster => dark elves got incredible starts changes with rakarth and lokhir => dark elves inherited the best slaanesh mechanics and the best chaos dwarfs mechanics combined with slaves modifications, they are now so smooth to play (after all the patches) => nearly every patch had something for them the real downside yet: malekith could have a "conquer ulthuan mechanic opposed to tyrion" & morathi could have a "slaaneshi roster/cult access"

Dark Elves are slightly improved in this game over TWW2. Their are 2 issues. One is TWW3 races don't confederate as fast as TWW2 races meaning mega Empires don't form as fast. 2 is that Delfs are no longer one of the larger races in TWW3 or close to each other to confederate. Warriors of Chaos is larger and there are now lots of things that can attack larger empires.

More videos like this! I know my way around max difficulty battles as a Total War veteran, but there are lots of nuances to campaign, especially in Warhammer, which I am surely not executing at peak level.

lol you need to make them work for you Thorek is two gifts to mil alliance and Kroqgar you just have to beat him down for the vassalization, Yeah the books are a trapped with the limited armies of the tomb kings.
the problems i have with Khalida is Kroq-gar and his damn salamanders are just too much for what you can get at that early stage, while also having probs with if your friends with dwarves, 2 stacks of kroq-gar is brutal and if queek wants at you your now fighting 2 fronts which stretches your now 2 stacks to defend both,. other times i've had skar brand and manfred kill the dwarves in like 2 turns then attack me. burny lizards and physical wards save fire sword demons are not something a 1 province tomb king is going to have an easy time dealing with.
best to completely take your starting province, I go clockwise starting with doom glade ending in Lahmia doing the red line to increase effects of archers. Gift granite massif first wait a turn then gift and mahrak to thorek this is a mil alliance on any difficulty easy to very hard. During this time you should be swapping out skeletons for nehekara warriors and getting up to 5 to 6 archers. Then head south to capture all of the Kingdom of Beast province, depending on the RNG you might have to fight Kroqgar, sacrifice as much as you need to kill him. Once you kill him a turn later, he'll offer 3000gold for peace with the settlements captures in the kingdom of beast gift him a settlement a turn until he's your vassal you want him there strong blocking kairos in the south. just like you'll want a strong thorek in the west blocking skrabrand. don't bother taking and settlements for unit you get a second army. Use Imrik and the minor dwarf factions to shield your settlements you take in the north.
I would love to every faction have a possibility to speed construction time with special resources like dark elves with slaves and unit upgrading system like warriors of chaos.
