It's hard to love yourself if no one ever reflected love back to you, if no one showed you you are lovable, if all you experienced is ridicule and rejection. So I have to create this love for myself out of the blue? Now imagine this scenario: Someone loves you and has the kindness to show it you. You will go "wow" I guess there actually IS something lovable about me! I'm not trying to put the burden on someone else here, this is not a blame game. Isn't it plausible what I'm saying, can't you emote? It's the same with self confidence talking to a woman you're attracted to or doing a task you continuously fail at. You will expect that you can't do it, from experience. How do you reevaluate such hard wired feelings gained through experience? How do you create love for yourself with no experience of loving yourself? When someone says "you need to love yourself first" then it's obvious other people do manage to actually love themselves. That adds just another dimension to not being enough. Can't even love himself, can't even do that.

Hello. From what you describe, the situation needs therapy (conventional, or in communities where people practice Tai Chi, ChiKung). And take that in person, not online. Or get any form of personalized help or group support. An online coaching channel with topics that clearly trigger your wounds isn't a good match. If I were a friend (so I'd actually know you in real life and have a friendship relationship with you) I'd tell you to get off dating channels for now and go for healing. Honestly. I send my best thoughts to you. 🙏🏻

@@LianaBuzea I am not triggered, it's just a response. Not using any dating apps, that's too artificial. Thanks for your advice.
