@@shannonbales657 I'm not sure about a whisper mode, but I know the only time I get that loud fan noise is when I have the laptop in performance mode and I am editing 4k videos. When using the computer for everyday things it is not as noisy.

Screenpad is handy and they keep updating it. I haven't tried yet but extra screen works with some game overlays as well. GeForce RTX 3070, Intel Core i7-10870H, 16GB, 1TB SSD - WIn10
I have the UX 581 with Intel Core i7-9750H, 16GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, GeForce RTX 2060. It's a really strong performer, and it makes sense that the 582 iterations are even better. I use it for Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Cinema 4D and it performs well. Rendering 3D can take a looong time, depending on the project, but that's the nature of the beast. It is my only content creation computer now, so it's my desktop and laptop. I doubt content creators use this or any other laptop as their primary editing screen, meaning most of us have external monitors. We are not using the laptop's screen or screens, but our monitor for the massive real estate that is easy on the eyes.. So in a sense, reviews are misleading as they purport to show how good editing is on the laptop used in isolation - without an external monitor. I believe, as in my case, when we are road warriors, for example when traveling, then this machine shines as we are truly editing using the laptop screens without an external monitor. The 2nd screen - Screenpad - is so important to me in my travel workflow, using it for my Premiere bins or my File Explorer windows. However, I mostly wait until I get back home to edit my projects using my external monitor. At home, my laptop screens are mostly used to view media folders as I work entirely on my ultrawide external monitor. Other than that note, the Zenbook Pro Duo has been a boon to me and I will continue buying this line.
Everything you described is exactly my feelings on it as well. The second screen is only used when I’m on the go. I usually have my laptop connected to my bigger monitor at home. I do like the convenience of being able to have a powerful color accurate screen to take with me wherever I go.
So i saw your other video where your laptop died. Do you think that problem is due to your i9 processor or do you think it happens to i7 version as well? Im thinking of getting the i7 version

@@joyster75 I do notice it a little bit, but there are many things that I appreciate more with the Mac that make up for the two screens...the battery life is probably 4 times better than the Asus was, the fans barely ever come on and the overall speed is better specially when editing and using multiple programs at once. I do miss the two screens but have been really impressed by the MacBook Pro.

I have bought this laptop and I'm left-handed, just wanted to say it's true that it's a bit uncomfortable. Although, being used to grabbing the mouse with my right hand, it's still small for any creative task, so in any case you probably use a mouse. This laptop works great having multiple apps open simultaneously, although I have experienced a few crashes when rendering complex 3D images

I absolutely love this laptop! The keyboard is great on it, but I use an external one because when I'm editing videos I use the number pad all the time and prefer the real number pad. It's just a preference for me.

The screen is very bright, so you can see it outside in the sun but because it is glossy it is very reflective...you can see yourself and whatever is around you on the screen.
Asus never ceases to amaze! I bought this toy with top-end hardware, and my surprise at the quality of this product began, opening the factory packaging, where all the seals were turned on, everything is beautiful, only the laptop turned off after half an hour of my work, it turned out that the power supply was simply dead, right out of the box the laptop worked on the rest of the battery and turned off. I checked the power supply unit on it with a tester 0, (zero). I bought a new unit, the laptop worked, after that I call the service and ask for a new power supply, since this one is dead, they tell me that they should take the laptop from me for verification, they cannot separately check the power supply. Further more! I began to check the laptop screen for dead pixels, I found such a small dot on the screen for five pixels, I began to check what it was, it turned out to be dirty on the screen glass, a speck of dust, damn it, okay. We continue, when turned on, it periodically turns on the fans to the fullest, the blue screen of death flies out, and reboots, so it's normal. And a special thank you for the wonderful touchpad with luminous numbers, this is a separate song, you just can’t use it, from the word at all, when you click on any number, anything is pressed, but not the number you need, try 1234567890 this is the usual keyboard, now our miracle 1 ,,, 5568690, well, it’s lovely, really, it’s very convenient, and the mouse twitches and skips, scrolling with two fingers periodically doesn’t work, well, like on the previous asus. But in general, a good laptop, you can heat the room with it on cold winter evenings. So take it, don’t think, there will be a lot of impressions.

This laptop would work well for Blender, and there are some cheaper models available. If you google best laptop for Blender in 2022, there are quite a few different options and prices.
I'm considering going for this model, but I don't know if I can justify it. I'm not the in the target audience, or at least not professionally (3d is a big hobby of mine, but I don't earn money off of it) and it's a lot of money for a laptop. I don't want to get a normal "good" laptop knowing that if I saved up a bit more that I could get something significantly better, and it would also be a big and much needed upgrade from my current laptop which barely runs. But alas the price

How is the legibility of text on the bottom screen? Is text too small on the bottom screen? Could the bottom screen be used for coding (software development)? I want to get one for coding, but not sure if text is too small to read properly on the bottom screen. Thanks.
The legibility of text on the bottom screen is good. For the most part you can adjust the size of text to be suitable for you. I don't do any coding but I do alot of scripts and working with scripts when video editing. I usually have Microsoft Word open with the script on the bottom screen and you can zoom in if you want the text to be bigger.

I'll be honest, I am not a gamer but I have heard others say that this laptop doesn't have the greatest refresh rate for gaming so the Zephyrus 16 might be the way to go.
To be honest I haven't used it on my lap yet as I haven't been traveling much at all. I have used it on a desk, or I will set it in front of me and just use a wireless keyboard and mouse on my lap.

I'd argue that the ZenBook Pro Duo's dual display layout is more practical for content creation than the Lenovo layout, but I guess it's also a matter of personal preference.

The camera is good, just started using it more lately.
Costco seems to have a 1080p version of this laptop with a rx3060, seems like that resolution will be horrible for this productivity laptop.

It is the Control Panel app that is included with the laptop, that works with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, After Effects, etc.
