The one thing out of many I liked about Chuck's character was that even though he had many opportunities to take advantage of posing as a couple, he was always wanting to avoid it because he knew it wasn't real evn though he wanted to. I loved how he broke up their pretend relationship only after Sarah told him there was no future, and he wasn't the one to try to kiss her when the supposed bomb was about to go off. He was really the nicest, funniest and most charming one on the show.
Morgan is the hardest character to play in this series, it is really really really hard to make people laugh playing the dumb guy, he just mastered it. Only him and the hilarious John Casey make me really laugh in this series

Funny thing is, in one episode, she goes undercover as an Australian scientist to help Chuck find a bomb. Looking up her biography, she really is from Maroubra, New South Wales.
And even though we know he's cast as the good guy, he means well and frequently tries to reason with the bad guys rather than "shoot first and then ask questions." It makes the show more adorable when Sarah falls for him.

I partly agree. The entire cast was why I loved this show from Big Mike's constant tantrums to Morgan's little disasters and Casey's fights with Chuck. This is one of the greatest action/comedy shows ever!

I think they're great but Lester seals the deal! I loved when Lester forgot about Chuck's superpowers and got kicked in the face so hard he went flying! That caught me totally off guard. I had to pause the DVD because I broke down laughing.

She might of knew but her spy training held it at bay. She didn't truly admit it until 'day 564' like she said in her spy video file. That's when she truly knew... Which if I'm not mistaken could be either Chuck Versus the Broken Heart or Chuck Versus the Ring. Makes more sense the latter since she says things are quiet since they defeated the Ring and she was ready to run away with Chuck which flashes back Episode 1 of Season 3. Either way, still sad and a very disappointing end to a perfect show.
Yvonne is such beautiful lady too much smart & Zachary Levi is also adorable & attractive,both looks really great,I am a big fan of Chuck series,Gomez is also funny
When Chuck and Fringe were on TV, the fact that Yvonne and Anna Torv were starring at the same time in US shows was awesome. In fact, Fringe was the only time I can remember three Australians appearing in the same scene of a US show.
While Sarah eventually tells Chuck she fell in love with him practically the first day they met, it took her over 500 days to admit it to herself in her video log. There were dozens of "Mile Markers" left by the both of them during their time together about their love & romance through the years. Even with her memory wiped, things like the prenup she signed should have been evidence enough to convince her Chuck was always the "ONE". The show writers just got lazy in the final season.
I respectfully disagree. I don’t think they were lazy at all. There were so many wonderful callbacks in those last three episodes. More importantly, we got to watch Sarah start falling in love with Chuck all over again! Even without her memory, those changes became a fundamental part of her. When I was younger and had never studied writing, I felt so gipped by the finale but as an adult and an educated writer I now understand and appreciate it so much!
2023 and looking back, Zach’s bumbling goofy childlike innocence worked for the first two seasons, but Zach never grew the character. Now watching Shazam 2 he beefed up and still plays the same schtick and has not grown as an actor. Heck, Billy Bateson in Shazam is 18 and the actors is o,see, but Zach plays the part like a ten year old who grew up on a farm in Kansas instead of being in and out of foster homes, abandoned by his parents and growing up on the mean streets of Philadelphia
Jee Zach mentions it in a tour he hijacked back when Chuck was still airing. It's different because its the pilot episode. It would be too expensive to build all those sets for a possible flop, so they rent places for filming, then if it's well-received, they build the sets based off of those original places. If a woman as stunning as Sarah Walker said that line about the phone not working to me I would have probably had a heart attack from pure joy. But then this is the real world and a girl like that wouldn't even look in my direction.
That's why there is a lot of divorce, the majority looks only for the outside. But here, Sarah definitely looks on the inside of Chuck. She used to know good looking guys but all of them used lies for a living. Chuck is a great guy, it's one of the reason she fell in love with him. She said numerous times what she thinks of him.
Yep. That was it. Remember that just prior to meeting Chuck she'd saved The Baby in Budapest and taken her to stay with her Mom. She was bound to be having Motherly feelings just then, and she meets this guy who knows exactly what to do to save the Ballerina's performance as well as make the kid feel like someone special. Very good writing, and nice how they connected S1E1 to S5E9. Such a great show.
Knowing how this series ends, it would have been better if Chuck could have either Lou or Hannah as his true love. Investing nearly 5 years in this on again off again romance is as cruel as it gets.
Didn't Chuck answer his own question about knowing something real about Sarah when he said Bryce always got the best girls? She was hooked on Bryce. Bryce's "betrayal" registered, but not enough for Sarah to plan on staying with the Intersect mission until Chuck's last ditch effort to call Sarah as she was dressed and prepared to meet Bryce at Omaha.
After all these years I finally realized there is a huge flaw in the first episode. Chuck should have flashed on Sarah. In no episode does he flash on Sarah or John.
He indeed flash in the pilot, thanks the ring she had in the finger. check it. And he flashes for "Alex Coburn" in the season 3, which is Casey's real name.

This made me realise that during the first season the Chuck/Sarah musical cue was used a lot. TIm Jones did a really good job with it!

I spent many many hours watching Chuck and feel betrayed by the pathetic ending, I will never get those hours back.
