I am so glad that you did this uTube. Back when your book first came out you were at the Sewing Expo in Cleveland and I purchased the book and the ever so cute 3.5 charm packs. Work got in the way. Now that I am retired and seeing this uTube I ran up stirs and took your book and charms off my shelf, they were in a special box to keep them pristine. A starching I will go. Thank you. Sure wish I had one of you Juki sewing machines.
Just ordered the book. Can't wait to get it. Thank you for all the RUclips videos. I'm a newer quilter and a little intimidated by your small pieces but very inspired by the 9 patch technique! I tried it! After nesting the three sewn strips I sewed perpendicular to the strips (just like we did the first time) but across the "top" and "bottom" of the three pieces and then cut them just like you did the first time. I think that's the way you meant to do it? Then took the center sections and sewed them to the paired "six'" patches. Saves some steps.
Thanks for sharing this technique for doing nine patch blocks. Such an awesome method and I can’t wait to try it out! It was wonderful to see precious Emery today.
Just found Lisa and this channel on you tube. As a new quilter I’m blown away by her designs and ability to make simple , classic quilting so stunning.! Again as a new quilter I’m also not quite ready to jump into all the things but this 9 patch indeed is one I need ! The link to the book is not found ? Are the books no longer available?
Had to watch this later. So glad I did, I love the mini nine patches. My order is on its way! Plus looks like we’ll be driving thru around the first of September and got the ok on the fall retreat. Bring on the info so I can grab a spot! Yay, so excited.
The quilt hanging in the upper right is Lisa's Vintage Nine Patch which is found in the Nine Patch Gatherings Book! www.primitivegatherings.us/nine-patch-gatherings-book?search=nine%20patch%20gatherings&description=true

Are rooms set up like for stories or individuals where my husband could come and go fishing somewhere while I enjoy your class?
That was always the plan to create something for the husbands! Our fishing pond out back is not quite ready for public fishing at this time!
Miss all the freebies
