With that i can play on a smaller area than the full sized you could use but tge cursor gets more shakier and wierder (sliders espacally ) the smaller the area gets
Open Tablet Driver never fails, i also use it to turn off smoothing
@@ok-qz7cx no it does it job with no issues
I see a problem with new tablet players, they use area less than 50mm x 30 mm, first problem is if u barely shake u can break easily, 2nd problem precision is harder and also it doesnt promote the use of ur wrist to aim with(imo using my wrist my aim is a whole lot stabler, and my area is 70x39.375)
As a fellow 6 digit, i wanna experience this even without a winning prize.

I get nerves when I'm about to set a score just playing solo, I can't imagine the shake when I would try to play in front of hundreds of people. Respect to the players ^^
I love the battle royale tournament format, it's really fun to watch especially with two great commentators like this :D

Honestly made me feel like im not the generic 6 digit anymore
Yeah I’m a tech/speed one trick 6 digit and this whole tournament hurt me
Yeah.... I'm a six digit all because of the pp rework :D
Because I have the skill of an 8 digit :D
@@idonkat6097 oh
@@Kemiino im trying to be versatile i try to improve my all around skill
You just compared yourself to 8 other 6 digits, needless to say 8 isn't that big of a sample size. Who knows, you might be more generic than you think.
Sholanator really caught my eye, at first I noticed them, because i saw that they had a lot of 100's on the first map, then I kept on watching them and sooner or later I was already watching them and rooting for them, the player that I thought was going to lose ended up being my favorite and winning the first place :D
It's amazing to see how much 6-digits have improved. Back in 2017, I used to be 55k. Now, I'm at 185k and that's with improvement getting back into the game again.
2015 - 2017 around before or early pp v2 if you can Gold S a 4,5 star you're getting 90k to 30k now if you can pull off a 5.5 star fc you're lucky to have more than 150pp
@@placyd 5.5 star fc could easily get you 200 pp you just need high acc
I swear whenever I play multi, the 6 digits are always cracked
I didn’t get pick this time, but i will be ready for the next tournament.

"Imagine the nerves" ~Brown man
ah yes
Soulless 4 sweet
Some gh players love to see it
And the nerves were on him when he conquered s4
man
Damn,opensh0t comeback just insane
I think he really concentrate on the beatmap and forget his nervous on that time
Alright so i'm around 188000 in rank and played along with the players in the game. I played first then watched them play and compared scores. This way i couldn't see the map first to gain an advantage.
Obviously did i do this just for fun without stakes or anyone watching me. So i was pretty calm, which makes it a million times easier.
I played on V2 like them and gave myself one try without warm up on the map etc.
The only map i ever played before in the pool was verflucht which i had two passes on.
The first few maps i did fine on never getting below the last player in the lobby, the first map i really struggled on was the My Love remix, since i suck at reading, i was second to last in points, but would've still survived.
God the camellia and my love map were terrible for me. I just couldn't hold combo or acc.
I actually 3 missed verflucht beating my PB in acc with 83% and that's with V2 where sliders are all green for me lmao. I won that one by a long shot compared to the players.
And well, going into the 5* map i was right where i felt comfortable. Having the awkward 4* maps out of the way, and being a 6*+ playing player the high AR was finally something i felt good with. I ended up with a score of 236229 and an acc of 93%
So yeah. I would've won had i played in the tournament, given the conditions i was playing under.
But to be totally honest? My consistency isn't great and i could've easily be one of those dying in the early maps that were rather awkward to play for me, i got lucky there i guess. :)

And lastly, Thanks for the awesome video as always Koi, you and BTMC smashed it. ♥

@@jurgenlens9022 Thank
Very refreshing experience here, it's nice to watch some fellow 6 digits and maybe notice some mistakes in my playstyle as well. Would like to see this kind of video again.
For all the 6 digits going "I could do this, these guys are just awful players." keep in mind this is probably the first time they have played score v2 as well as the nerves. That would cause them to struggle this way.
What is different in Score V2 vs Default?
@@Elias-wu7on slider has acc and score gain becomes something like acc > combo.

I feel like you should do more of these cause it seemed more relatable and exciting to watch compared to godmode players, you know like just picking up randos

wasn't expecting a cammelia song to be in a 6 digit tournament
I'm new to rythm games and I've only played robeats, so I'm trying to learn and I'm chilling on the channel watching vids. Then a video comes out in the same hour im watching koifishu lol.

@@pika4126 Thanks lots :P
you should play osu!taiko, if you get good you will easily get up the ranks, not a lot of people are playing it
tbh this was more entertaining to watch than a higher ranked tournament lmfao
Maybe because of the unpredictable outcome from the plays. Top player would most likely be head to head with either an S or an A compared to a 6 digit tourney where one could have a good start but the other guy clutches with a 10k score gap or smthn
@@3sty216 then just put some harder maps to the higher ranks
@@Gadottinho It's not that simple you know, each tournament houses different maps that caters to different skillsets. From maps that requires to be used such as Hidden, Doubletime, etc. To no mod maps. The higher you go with star rankings mean the lesser maps that tests these skillsets well considering it already goes to the realm of overmapping or straight up testing auto. Along with the fact that the majority of the players cannot play maps higher than around 8-10, it would already look pointless in doing so in the first place. You also have to take in the fact that these maps aren't specifically tailored for tournament matches and more of simply picked for playing as it fits the criteria they need to test each player's skillsets during the tournament. It's up to the mapping community along with choosing the perfect song for a certain difficulty to find that right balance of being a hard map and fun map and actually being playable
@@Gadottinho and it's also the fact that these top players already played a lot in previous tourneys to the point where everyone knows most of their strengths and weaknesses. It's like the NBA Rookies, you see fresh faces and the anticipation as to what they'll bring to the table would add to the unpredictability of the match's outcome

Thank you for linking the beatmaps
Respect to the players and GG to Sholanator
Im gonna challenge myself to see how far i can go by playing all the maps in order with some rules
Rules :
1.No mods except NF
2.No retries
3.Sightread only (this means i only get one chance)
4. If your score is the lowest you are out and you lose
5.maps have to be in order
Gl if you guys wanna do this too
Update : Lost at Lost desire by 20k, this challenge was fun
The nerves+score v2 probably did a lot to make the players look worse than they really are but i do find it interesting how as a 6 digit i played 5-6* maps and only recently got pushed into barely 5 digit by the pp rework.
Next up a 5 digit tourney
4 digit tourney
3 digit tourney
2 digit tourney
The 1 digits would ego koi maybe lmao
Where 7 digit
honestly i usually never watch low rank tourneys. this was insane tho. i think this really shows how much professionalism and taking the tourney seriously is moving up things a lot for the viewers :D (not that other low rank tourney organizers don't take it seriously but you usually see a lot less 'resources' there like badges, known commentators, good streaming quality etc.)
If I was in, it would have been an easy 2 years of supporter
@Marioghini True, true, he will not include 2008 maps I think
their osu support would be running out right about now
This really made me feel good about myself. I'm a 6 digit.
I want to try myself in tournaments because I have really f*cking amazing nerve control, I focused on that the most, but I never tried myself in tournaments.

This tournament was awesome. Ive only been playing osu seriously for like 2-3 weeks but im in the 6 digits already. I can't wait to actually find some people to play with. I played stepmania for 15 years. The button timings are not the issue. Its my drawing hand that is giving me the issues lol.

300k digits and 100k digits are such a big gap, you hit your first 200pp play in-between those ranks now a days
bro when i saw that koi is hosting a tournament for 6 digits i was super hyped up to join, but then i saw that you must be 150-600k and i just got into 140-130k and i knew im fucked

honestly I would love to see more of these 6-digit tournaments
As a six digit you can see just how much nerves actually affect people, I haven't played for 3 days and tried the maps and got better scores on every one. If nerves affected them that badly, OWC teams must have crazy high nerve tolerance to be able to perform so well
I just got to 6 digit and I’m excessively proud of it
i had nerves just watching this... can't imagine actually competing
I putted my mony in the right person
OPENSHOT CLUTCHED MAN MY LOVE MAP DAMN

Time to compete, by myself.
500k digits rise!
Aight I tried to do it but idk if I'm just that good or if the scoring system is kinda wonky...
Lets just say that my scores were FAR higher than the highest achiever...
Yes, I had NF on.
First one was 684k, 2nd one was 486k. I didn't really try the rest cuz
went from 7 digit to 5 digit in 4 weeks so havent had much of the 6 digit experience
My friend is a reading player and a tourney player so I learned the game on some complete bs so I am confident I can do tourney in the future.
oh darn the battle is intense
that was very interesting
good job to everyone that played in this gg
Ok so basically, it's not necessary for players to be top of the game for the tournaments to be fun and engaging. I was rooting for all of these players throughout watching this!! Sure I'm a 5-digit, which isn't hugely ahead but it's still incredibly fun to watch, and I bet I'd enjoy it even if it was a competition between 7 digits on earlier 3-4 star maps tbfh!
Ok, as a 6 digit, verflucht in any difficult is just impossible.
We need more of those 6 Digit tournaments. You never see those happen never!!!

As a 7 digit, i can totally read AR8, a bit of AR9 but like that's it, i swear to god I would die immediatly
I want this skill again 😭
