Nice match, bad camera on targets. Sometimes is no seen impact on targets. And better will be short distance from target - bigger picture of target. Why is place for match so windy?
@@jtc1947 because it’s a WA (World Archery) event. WA was created with the goal to get archery into the Olympics, which they accomplished in 1972. The Olympics has used the metric system since the first Olympic game in 1896, so therefore WA events use the metric system as well.
@@jonpersson7059 Thanks for info. 70 meters / metres is a LONG WAY. Maybe put a red dot in the center of the target for focus? Or do they already have something there that I can't see??
Not really. The first three dozen of a gents 1440 is shot at 90m. Clout archery is shot at 180yds and further for metric comps. Flight archery, now that's a looooooong way to shoot an arrow.
@@usaarchery Ben Avery is a hugh range. I played cowboy action there with ACSA. For a shooter of anything that place Is awesome . It's seemed like ya'll had geat time, and it is when your competing! Thanks a bunch
I've shot a recurve since the beginning but mine doesn't have a stabilizer and sights like like these bows. Not taking away anything from them but a recurve has none of the stuff that these bows have.
@@russellgardner9178 "Recurve" refers to the shape of the limb tips, which are curved foward and contacting the string over a longer section further away from the limbs nocks than on a longbow or flatbow. Traditional hunting recurves, barebows and Olympic recurves are all recurve bows, just different styles.
Absolutely amazing, how these guys can shoot. I’ve been shooting bows over 60 years and could never shoot like that. Brady has been the man for years.
Then for 60years you have been shoting a bow without a string maybe

@@jtc1947 you aim at the the yellow. It's quite small at 70m
They both shot excellently considering how windy it was. (I'd be luck to hit the target at that range.) :)
what was the range
@@lotharluder2743 sorry, I don't remember, but I think they said how far the targets were away in the video.
@@JerryDechant Thanks. I checkt it. In the comments some say 70 meters. Nice distance.
What pound are the bows?
I would imagine the are stiffer than short range bows.
Around 50 pounds on their fingers at full draw. Give or take.
Ty Phoon 👍
Go Brady!!!
imagine not uploading sport in 1080p
I can see this is a real popular sport, how much longer is this going to take

What satbilizer is Brady ellison using ?
A steady one.
best I can read....Shrewd. Surprisingly not terribly expensive stabilizers....at least what's on their web page.
4k would be nice
70M!!!
These bows a pretty ridiculous. It cost a fortune to get into this. No wonder bare bow is so popular.
70 meters nuts...
Great👍
Hey, Aggies!
real archery!
Good shooters on 70 meters
I hit a Tiny Owl ( height 40 cm) on 30 meters with a Longbow
