Voice Activated Switch using Arduino & Python

You can use a relay instead. Just give it a high or low command, like we do for LED in pyfirmata! Esay

Can't I give another power source instead of my computer after uploading the program .
Can I do it and control the system wirelessly from my pc ?

this error means that your port is busy try removing the arduino from usb and restarting your system
