6:44 Custom Finishing Models kit # 318 HO. You can bash a bulkhead flat into log bunk too. Using Details West # LB-171 Log Bunks. Both of these are super fun builds and the freight cars look great when completed.
Nice log cars. I like your lumber yard as well. The weathered cement looks realistic and easy to build. My Granddad was one of the first if not first engineers in Red Lodge until 1905. Just tinkering with building a small N Gauge with a mill and gravel pit. Got some great ideas here. Good video.
@montananorthern I assume you are talking about Kaslo shops ?,which is a shame because they sell their log bunk cars in pairs for 40$ which I was going to order them from, where as the ones from custom finishing are about 28$ for a single car which can be ordered through Walthers.
The log cars look awesome as does the layout. CSX is moving logs on relatively new AOKX flats and I have all sorts of detail shots. Currently trying to kitbash them if you want the specifications. I just found your site and will follow it for ideas for my Georgia Road. Great work!
Much appreciated for the kind words. I saw a few of the AOK flats recently in Nashville but unfortunately no logs were on them. That would have been cool to see.
An old editor's potion: hot tea, a dash of lemon and a shot of vodka. It probably won't cure your cold, but after a couple of these, you won't feel a thing. BTW, nice layout and video.
Ahh I totally forgot to put the link for the logs in the show notes...Thanks for the reminder. Here is the link for the logs - www.amazon.com/dp/B098MBGGKH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Here is Matts Info - facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001868319019
Cars look great, Thomas! Regarding those individual lumber loads that are sitting on the asphalt - are they part of the center beam lumber loads or did you make those yourself? Great update! - Brian

thank you very much for the kind words. Thats awesome about your Grandad. He must have seen some cool operations.
Used similar foam for parking lots and roads…great job in painting and weathering the foam…awesome cars…
Thank you so much
Custom finishing and Kaslo shops has these log bunks, it's just the car bodies you have to add the couplers and trucks and wheels..
@@joedelusso1415 yeah I tried to reach out but could never get anybody to respond

HaHa its funny you say that. My wife fixed me the same thing except with Jack Daniels and it did the same thing after two. Thanks for watching.
You have to pave both sides of that center beam car
Log cars look good. Can I get Matt's info to contact him. An what is the link for the logs? Thanks.

@montananorthern Thanks, appreciate it. Is the layout point to point? Or continuous?
