I'm going to keep an open mind. I'm not going to condemn or defend Gaiman until the trial (if there is one). It is his right to be considered innocent until proven guilty, and while the accusations are disturbing, they're not proof of illegal activity.

I think this is the best course for all cases that make it into the media news. I've seen too many carefully curated stories about cases that will twist your mind on the subject that completely change when watching sometimes just a minute or two longer into the testimony. Basically, unless you want to lock into watching the whole trial, don't take sides, and don't let your news source tell you what is what.

Gaiman is one of the most influential authors in multiple mediums that most Americans have not heard of but have appreciated his translated works on-screen. It is sad if true. Are NDAs worth anything anymore? Seems like they take the money then break the NDA later. Now you can understand why Tiberius did what he did with his guests when he was done with them, even though it was exteme cruelty.
I really think there should be some kind of time constraint. I mean these people coming out with stories that are 10 15, 20 or more years ago seems ridiculous. If it was such a traumatic experience, they should’ve said something about it at the time. Or within I don’t know some reasonable timeframe. People misremember things all the time and retroactively removing consent because you regret your choice isn’t realistic.
You don't understand the effects of trauma do you? Or the fact that making accusations against someone who is famous and wealthy is very difficult. Look at what Weinstein did to women's careers who tried to speak up against him, they were black listed.
The first allegation came from his nanny from 2022-2023 and she came out within a year after she stopped working for him. More allegations came out after she came out and people said it couldntve happened.
Why would this even be reported in the media with no evidence? Why not wait until the trial is over, when the truth has been determined by process of law?

I heard about some of the stuff he did a few years ago from a small-time author who did a video on him, talking about some scandal in a writing retreat Neil was doing for upcoming writer and mention the reason why it was covered up because he viewed as such a big money maker in the writing scene so the big publisher hush it up.

Was there abuse like Trump where it was r*pe but given a slap to downgrade to abuse. This is consent at the moment and now regret with consent now felt abused after can't be a precedence? The issue is the evidence must be proven for what is a private matter in a public domain before any judgment is rendered is toxic given so many fakes accusations to celebrities to gain cash. Damage to character is done regardless shoving their private live and lifestyle be open to public scrutiny is gross.
