NewJeans are such a fun vibe. I will recommend you always watch to the end of their videos and always do side A and B. The music videos are always so unique and tell a bit of a story. You really can't go wrong with any of their songs. I'd also recommend XG. Probably my favorite girl group out right now. Every song they do is top tier, incredible vocals, rapping, dancing. I don't think there is anything that group cant do. Also Jackson Wang. What a talent. I'd recommend starting with Blow and then deep dive his solo catalog. I'm always waiting for his next drop. His Magic Man album is no skip. And of course you found V. His Layover album top tier music. Looking forward to your reactions!
They are under the company Ador, which is part of Hybe. Hybe is BTS’s company BigHit’s parent corporation. They are very popular despite being a new group. They are all VERY young- from 15 to 19 years old so all minors in Korea. 3 Koreans and 2 Australians.
FYI Hybe is not BigHits parent company. They are their sister company. BigHit created Hybe. BigHits founder BangPD and all members of BTS own stock in Hybe and on the board of directors. BangPD created Hybe so they could acquire more groups. Those other groups are still under their own labels under but under the Hybe Umbrella. Hybe houses all the departments (marketing, advertising, training, legal, accounting, etc) this is so the labels can concentrate on their teams and not have to worry about all the day to day stuff. Why would a company want to pay for a legal department, accounting department, marketing and advertising department for each label. Hype consolidated all those under their company to keep costs down. Doing this allows the labels bigger budgets to produce their music.

I prefer if you just go through the MV's in release order. Attention is the 1st song on the first e.p. so you're on the right path. The only advice I have is stick with the official MV's. If you want to do a performance video later to see more of the dancing it's fine but you miss out on a lot of plot/dialog if you don't watch the full MV. It's more important for everything after the 1st e.p. because they get more artistic from there. It's like watching a mini movie or K-drama in addition the music. Both Ditto and Cool With You have a "a side" and a "b-side" version, and you should react to both. Ditto's 2 versions have different outcomes (though open to interpretation) and Cool With You b-side literally continues the storyline directly from the end of the a-side, and when you are done It's a real Greek tragedy, plus they tack on a short song interlyde from the e.p. that is too short for It's own MV. P.S. Hype Boy has like 5 versions but it doesn't matter which one you react to. They have different stories that don't really intersect so just pick the one that centers around whichever girl you like the most. Unless you just really want more content. Also, Cookie is a bit controversial because of the lyrics and their ages. It's a banger but it should not have been released.
Their debut songs are a bit awkward. The girls were at that age between children and young adults. The one pulling the sexy dance moves in the mv was just 14! Now, a bit under 2 years later, they've grown up alot. Two of the members will be entering their 20s this year so it feels less weird.
Has anyone recommended Taemin to you yet? He is in the group Shinee, but he also has an incredible solo career. Check out his videos for Advice and Guilty. He is such an artist.
