    Just discovering this video series, and I want to say thank you. I am looking to get back to my asana practice after a back injury (probably from doing yoga wrong.) Too many teachers ignore the mental and spiritual aspects of yoga. Thank you for keeping this focus.

    Thank you for creating & sharing this energizing sequence. I watched your entire Surya Namaskar series and found it to be very helpful! If possible, could you also post a Chandra namaskar series? I know there are several variations of this flow, but I am having trouble finding a good video that includes Goddess, pose, skandasana, malasana, etc.
    Thank you in advance & Namaste.

      @@AkhandaYogaOfficial I try to respect the breaths, but for example when I arrive at an asana where I have to exhale, I have already done the exhalation before, during the transition between the two asanas. Should I wait for my posture to start my breathing or can I start during the transitions. Sometimes I find that the transition between two asanas is as powerful as the asanas themselves, the movement.
      Thank you for your time

    Can you make one as a kriya? I know there is very old sun salutation as a kriya, with preparatory asana,,,I think it consists of butterfly flap, rocking leg, cat stretch, then sun salut. Probably the twist as you mentioned, in the other practice, and alternate nostril breathing maybe, chant AUM for sure... Don't know exactly, it would be cool to see sun salutation as a kriya,,,,I really enjoy your other kriya...thank you so much for sharing it.they are my practices, I had a kundalini awakening 3,5 yr ago and it's been a crazy ride for me...and kriya is so so powerful...much love ❤️

      Namasté Hana! We hope you are well. Thank you for joining us for practice. You could certainly do a series of postures and breathing before the sun salutations. You might enjoy our Gayatri Kriya which incorporates the twisting, side stretching, active breathing, and much more. This Kriya is about 15-20 minutes and can also be done on its own.

    This is brilliant, I really want to be able to do this but I can't seem to get my chin to the floor keeping my elbows in....grrr! Is this just practice,, practice practice & strength or am I doing something wrong? 😢

    • @AkhandaYogaOfficial
      @AkhandaYogaOfficial  3 года назад

      Namaste Eileen! We hope you are well. It may come over time with practice as you strengthen the muscles and also increase the range of motion for back-bending. It may also never change, it could simply be the beautiful, intricate design of your body. Continue to practice with compassion and sincerity. Wishing you all the best. Hari Om.

    You dwell on the first and second steps for ages and then you rush through the third step with no explanation at all. This kind of instruction is so frustrating for beginners, and I am unsubscribing as a result of it. If you’re going to make Intro videos, please take the time to explain all the steps with equal attention to detail, like how you get through these 5 poses in step 3, and if that makes the video too long, then maybe spend less time explaining how to do a forward fold.

      Namaste Lisa. Thank you for your feedback. We regularly create and share new content both on this platform and Akhanda Yoga Online. Yoga is a theoretical and practical science. With daily regular practice the theory becomes clear. Hari Om.
