Song was shot in Telugu, it is just that T-Series (music rights holder) is sticking to its own policy of releasing 2-minute edits of the full video song (for all new Bollywood songs). In Telugu/Tamil only 30-45 second teaser is released and the full video song is released. But T-Series does the 2-minute strategy with Bollywood songs. So the full video of Hindi version is shortened to a 2-minute edit (unfortunately it has lot of lipsync moments, unlike most Telugu/Tamil song teasers). The Telugu audio is pasted on this video of Hindi version.
Crux of the matter is : Telugu version was picturised separately. T-Series showed laziness and didn't care to edit the full Telugu version into a 2 minute cut (the way they did for Hindi).
