Sunny celebrated her 20th birthday on March 23rd of this year. This video contains video clips from that special day. I can't believe that she is 20 years old already.

@@malaikaandromeo I am so sorry to hear about your two pineapple conures. I have heard of birds only living a few years. Sometimes, it's genetics, but it can also be diet-related. I grew up with budgerigars, which can live up to 15 years, but ours livered is about six. They were fed an all-seed diet though. Seeds are not bad, but it definitely should not be the only thing in the diet. Yes my Quaker Parrot, Nikki, lived to 19. I have her tribute video on here if you want to learn about her story. She was one tough cookie. Yes, I feel very lucky that Sunny is 20 years old and still very healthy. Prior to her birthday, she had a vet checkup and got a clean bill of health-the best gift ever!
@@jenniferCastellano927 I have 4 budgies ranging from ages 7 to 10, three cockatiels 8 and 2 ( third is a rescue so I’m not sure but it looks young ) and then ofc my bluey and Sunny. They’re all on a mixed diet that includes fruits, vegetables, seeds, and grains/millets. I think with my gcc’s both of them died after I took them on a vacation with me Maybe it was the sudden change in environment or the cage But I never took any bird again with me. But I’m so happy for you that you got to spend such a long good time with your babies. Please keep posting videos of your beautiful birds! I would love to keep getting their updates♥️💖
@@malaikaandromeo Sounds like you take very good care of your flock. As for the GCCs, you may never fully know the cause just like I really don't know the cause of how my Quaker got sick toward the end of her life. The fact that they both died at the same time could mean it was an environmental cause so the vacation could be it, but we will never fully 100%.

Just subscribed. My Quaker Parrot lived 19 years. Quakers and Sun apparently do very well together. Mine were besties.
