I’m a random stranger but Sundai, I just have to say that I’m so proud of you and that last bit really hit me in the feels. I’ve been having a mid life crisis of questioning where I am and where I want to be and that just gave me a push. I wanna say to anyone reading this that it doesn’t matter how old you are. They're called "planters". You're totally right. lol Or like, a Planting Bucket, Planting Bin (usually the big long heffers), plastic/ceramic/wooden thing I plant my plants in. All of them are pretty common in Chicagoland dialect. lol

I know your health has not been the greatest the past few years but you really just kept it pushing and did the darn thing. I am sooo happy I found you and your content. I will be moving to Japan late this year for school and I just want to thank you for bringing some much great content about the country and your experience as a Black woman there to RUclips. Your rule about living the life you dream about is definitely how I'm trying to live my 2023. I've had lots of loss in my family and it just cemented the fact that I need to move towards my goals and not be stagnant in growth. Hope your 2023 is a happy and healthy one. :)

I just call all "planter boxes" pots. I donʻt know. Sundai thank your for your awesome episodes! Hana Biyori looks like a great off the beat place to visit thanks for sharing! We usually do touristy things going to Japan and itʻs usually so crowded OMG! Weʻre from Hawaii and Iʻm not used to big crowds so this place is amazing and quiet! We just got back home on New Years Eve from two weeks in Japan (7th trip there) and wow the tourist are back, yeah I know including us lol! Our last visit at the start of Covid in March 2020 was more mellow which I kinda liked more. Thanks for sharing your life in Japan with us! Happy New Year and hope your move goes smooth! Aloha!
