- my second upload! ive been quite annoyed for the lack of scene pack videos for toh characters, so here i am planning to make it a series :)! next is probably luz, amity or hunter

I love how they started out almost like they were gonna be those cool kids who turn out to be jerks, to teach the value of not caring about the in-crowd and suchlike, but dropped that schtick after their first episode and then became supportive sibling characters.
Yeah, and at first it seemed like they were the reason Amity was so mean, but it's really their parents' fault, mostly her mom's. Bottom line I'd say we all misjudged them at first.

I loved when they took their concealment stones off, and you see Emira has pimples. The twins looked TOO attractive and it did feel unreal. I think it's really good for the younger audience to see pimples on a cool and pretty character.

But other than the zits and unkept hair, she doesn't look any different, she's even wearing the same outfit, Edric on the other hand, he looks like he didn't even bother changing clothes, wears glasses, a headband to keep his hair off his eyes and more importantly, [gasp] he has body hair & peach fuzz facial hair. All in all he looks even more like Alador

Also love the fact emira doesn't actually have the beauty mark on her face and only adds it with the concealment spell to match edric ♡

Eh, I’d say while mean it knocked Amity down a peg or two from how snobbish she was being.
Considering how horrible their mom is and dad for the most part just being around until the final couple EPs in season 2, in a way Ed and Em (to me) felt like better parents to Amity

I honestly really like both of them, they’re not the mean older siblings or the unconditional supportive ones, they all get on each other’s nerves but they have each other’s backs at the end of the day.

I do kinda wish Emira got as much developement as Edric did. It seemed like she just remained the shallow sister that hates her brother.
TLDR; Emira does get character development but it’s a lot more subtle than Edric’s development. Probably from crew having cut the show so short.
She got some development too. As time went on Emira had Amity’s back more and more often. You can see it the most in the episode about the Bones-Borough Brawl and in that episode where she dyes Amity’s hair purple. She also was practicing healing magic, which is one of the nine coven/tracks. which is why she wanted the bad girl coven shirt too. Remember, both her and Edric manly studied Illusion like Gus. She even joined multi track studies in the episode with the Graye, but it was a bit hard to tell by the uniform alone since both illusions and healing track colors are shades of blue. I do wish they had her development as obvious as Edric but I think because Edric’s rep through out most of show was him being mean and then kinda oblivious, they gave his development more focus. I think if we had gotten the series in it’s entirety, we probably would have gotten a clearer look at both of them growing as people.

I love these two to death. I'm glad they made both of them really chill and kind unlike most older siblings in show. They can genuinely be loving and supporting but also aren't afraid to bust her chops sometimes
When you're first introduced to these two, they haven't even had 30 seconds of screen time and you don't even know their names, yet they're already your new favorite characters on the show.

I'm so glad the first episode with them was misleading as to what their personalities were and how they acted. I like them so much more in all the other episodes, and Amity doesn't need more than 1 bad family member

I think I finally figured it out. I feel that every episode of a kid show can teach you something. After watching this scene, I have no doubt that Lost in language teaches us about peer pressure.
Why do these twins remind me of the Weasleys
Ed and Em remind me so much of the Weasley twins, Fred and George, from Harry Potter. They're all troublemakers, but unlike the Weasleys, the Blight twins haven't been kicked out of school, yet.
Imagine dubbing Em's lines over Blaze the Cat.
Both are voiced by Erica Lindbeck, so it makes sense.
I remember the minute I first saw them on screen I was like “oh no!…hot older siblings!! The bane of young teens everywhere!!! Luz is gonna get so flustered and confused!!!!”
