i'm looking to pick up a 2007 XL1200C this week w/ 5700 miles, for $3500. Definitely a different bike with the skinny tire up front but I think i'll enjoy it.
These certainly go alot cheaper in the USA. Here in the UK some 2011 2012 bikes are fetching £ 7500 with 9k on them. 2017 models £9000 with 3k on the clock.
Agreed on that, I just paid £6500 for a 09 custom immaculate condition wth 4200 miles on it, not sure on the exchange rate, that's got to be at least 7500 dollars and that's 4 years later
Just a tip for the noobs, never ride long time on an almost dead battery. Your alternator will be fried, very costly to replace. The reason is when battery is dead she never want to charge fully, she will pull a lot of current for an extended periode of time from the alternator and it end up running hot and hotter of time, if battery not replaced for long time you may have later on to replace the battery and the alternator, maybe the regulator as well. Good luck !
So, I used to drive a Vtx 1300, traded that in for a 2009 m90 Suzuki. Turns out I’m not a muscle cruiser guy and miss my VTX (it was my second VTX) I was thinking of the sportser custom1200 fat tire) I don’t have a garage for larger bike. Need lighter than heavier... Whacha think? Great vids!
Coming from the vtx 1300, I think you'll enjoy the low end torque of the 1200 sportster. The handling/ergos may feel a bit strange initially. But overall I'm a big fan of the sportster 1200. Plus, you get the easy fuel injection. Those vtx 1300s always seem to run a bit cold blooded, even here in az lol. Best bet is get your hands on one at a demo day and see how you like it. Thanks for watching and commenting! !
Cha ching, there went another five hundred dollars off the asking price. Maybe you ought to keep your investments at home before you put yourself out of business or buy it for yourself now that you banged up the bottone pan on it.
Thanks for the feedback/watching. This was a re-up of one of my earlier vids. I've since started wearing gloves most of the time. Occassionally I forget them when I go pick up a new bike.
Watch till the very end for a pretty gnarly slam on the bmx bike (from way back when). As always, thanks for watching!

I have a 2015 1200C--same bike but black w/white pinstriping. Swapped out the forward controls for mids due to my short inseam. Much better.
"wait in line all the time at this gas station".. as he pulls right up with no trouble or wait at all.
Hahaha...I swear that gas station is the worst set up I've seen. I got lucky that time. Lol. Thanks for checking the vid!

Dang, that's a smoking deal! I rarely find these for under $4k, let alone in a good color and with low miles. Thanks for checking out the vid!
Zorro Z what year is it
How much you think a 2015 HD custom with 8k on the clock worth?
It needs a 2 into 1 a high flow and a dyno. Pump up the power.
Pleade answer me this: do you transfer to your name before sale again?
U ridn the right track? No blocking position
You got a good deal but how many miles are on it
A friend of mine has this bike. He put V & H Short Shots on it. OMG! They wake that bike right up! Loud As Fuck!
I've seen em with those. Looks sick too!
Yeah I got short shots on my 04 custom. People here me coming on the turnpike
Do you remember what type of bags are on that?
Maybe Viking
what model windsheild is that?
What’s a 2009 1200 custom w screaming eagle slip ons and intake worth w 7k on the clock? Mint condition all black w gray pinstripe. I paid 3800 for it

I run red arrows all the time on my 1200 custom
Did I run a red in this vid? Thanks for checking the channel!
You should get another Triumph Thunderbird 😎
Put Jackie on that bike!
Would've been a good one for her, but I sold it a few months back. I have an 883 in the garage that she might try out.
My son had the exact same bike color and all Gaye $7,500 for it brand new!
what state arizona?
Yeah, good old state 48!

Hahaha...fortunately there was no real damage. But I have since refrained from taking any more cruisers off road. Lol.
Have you ever watched the South Park episode about Harley riders? It’s called “The F Word”, it’s pretty funny.
I haven't seen it but will have to look it up. Lol. Classic southpark!
Yea man get some cobra pipes on it
I forget, are you running cobras on the shadow?
@@JonsMotoGarage yup cobra drag pipes
Amen
8:11 another thing you could do to these sportsters is put a lift on em! 😂 🤣
Might as well bag it then sell it
Wow thats low miles you stole it
