I really think Celpip , ilets and the rest should consider replaying the listening part at least 2 times. So the test doesn't become a note taking skill

Firstly, for any English test, you want to use the correct word forms, for instance, it should be his absence, becomes worse. You may also want to be more specific in some of your answers. Why was he upset? How's the employer going to help?
well this was easy one, but on CELPIP website they have another sample which is video of 3 persons talking about some French class. and in the questions you have to answer what they were wearing lol. so you have to take note even of such unexpected details. what is much worse they were discussing other students, so eventually it's like 5 or 6 persons that can be potentially mentioned in the question section. that was really tough one, even for a native speaker it would be very hard to adsorb so much information about so many strangers at once.
I heard from other test-takers that now they identify the people by names at the beginning, so the questions don't refer to the clothes. The sample test on their website is quite old and I believe they have made some changes since then.

I'm not sure what you mean but the questions are multiple choice questions and the questions have different levels of difficulty so the questions have different weight assigned.

The reason is the questions have different difficulty levels. If you answer 5 difficult questions correctly, you should get more points than someone who answers 5 easy questions correctly.
That's a good question. This may happen when the listening skills are not strong enough. You need to practice listening, and practice every day. The shadowing exercise is good for you to try. It clearly test more your memory skills and not listening. I am a native speaker and I find this a bit challenging.

The expressions you used are not natural e.g. It become down, leave (quit) gambling, he is in problem (in trouble)

Why are there overlapping scores for bands in celpip? Like 33 is in 8 as well as 9
The reason is the questions have different difficulty levels. If you answer 5 difficult questions correctly, you should get more points than someone who answers 5 easy questions correctly.
