Actors here did an amazing job of conveying the story. The disturbance and dread in their voices really emphasize the magnitude of the upcoming cataclysm.
Man, I love this game. Very good story, very unique gameplay, and just the right difficulty if you know what's coming. I used to do a strategy where I would try to farm resources as long as possible in Mission 6 (the nebula gives a LOT of resources over time), and even one run where I would capture the Heavy Cruiser in Mission 6. Later playthroughs I didn't bother with it because it's too easily converted by Beast infections.
17:40 I had no idea about the larger raider fleet that arrives in mission 3. As a kid, I always moved as close as possible to the Clee-San, and left as soon as it was on board.

I have seen a full play through it is quite similar to the sjet story line .. not quite as interesting as this game was but still pretty close ... many prerelease people were complaining but they seem to al be call of duty players and couldnt handle actual tactical battling .... guess they missed the grenade climbing
Yes, and now I'm watching your HW1. Well done on catching the dialog about them becoming extinct without the trays. That only happens if you're not interrupted with the capture of the ship before they are defeated. I've seen that line only on one playthrough so well done.@@captainsprice7905

The ending implied that they are still out there, however everytime hidden clusters of ships appeared or found, the now Somtaaw certified warships of various factions make the Beast take the L before anything worse happened

I love the engineer doing his best to explain just what the beast is. Dude sounds so disturbed and he's just trying to understand.

I miss playing this game ... loved leading the enemy fleets on long trips so I could pick em off as they spread out
The story and narrating quality of this game on another level compared to Homeworld 3....which is absolutely horrible.
