You know, when I saw Martijn's interview post-breakup...I never felt animosity towards Charlotte, he even gave full credit to her contributions to Delain's music...I think the problem was mainly with Timo and Otto, and Charlotte got caught up in the middle...maybe not for this Delain project, since Charlotte herself is focusing in her solo work, but I wouldn't rule out a reunion...and maybe it will be sooner than later...
so many bands in the symphonic metal genre have had a revolving doors of singers over the years, from nightwish and sirenia, to leaves eyes and xandria. changing singers is nothing new to these bands so delain has every chance to make a success out of it.
I hope the band puts together a good line up and prospers, but ultimately the quality of the lead female vocalist will decide how good they are, Charlotte will be enormously difficult to follow, if not impossible.
I think liv Kristie could be the re introduced vocalist. she did a lot of the vocals on lucidity, and I know from a discussion I had with her that she would love to work with Delain again
