Great little bag. I bow hunt public Wma's and use this for my saddle set up. 4 thethrd One stick's strapped to the bottom and a Latitude Speed platform strapped to the front. Just the right amount of pockets for rangefinder, grunt and accessories. The bottom straps also effectively strap to my back bike rack with the straps thrown over the seat to securely hold the bag onto the bike when I don't have the steps on the bottom of the pack. I love the top flap and easy access! There is one caveat. The top lid needs two additional (one on each side) hooks or keepers to keep the lid from gapping open and a couple inches of extra fabric on the lid. Just add a small Sitka half sleeve jacket a small water bottle and this bag will gap open from tree stand. Gapping open is not a big deal until it rains. Thank you for all of your time and effort to create an almost perfect pack!!!!
@Staggsinthewild I have been watching your RUclips content for a while now and I have been mobile hunting from a saddle with platform for just a few years. Recently I purchased a complete one stick kit from EWO to try this season. After watching your one stick videos last evening I finally made the first climb with the one stick. After I finished my practice session I was like dang why didn’t I do this sooner. So you have taught an old 58 year old dog some new tricks. 😂 BTW… I’ve preordered your new pack and looking forward to using it.
Thanks for taking the time to post! Glad to hear it’s going well for you … you’re going to love the pack! We’re so proud of it; it came out exactly like I wanted!
I have an idea for your pack. Add something to attach a set of keys in the top by the pockets. I drive a four wheeler into the woods then walk about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile from it. I love the packs that have a snap to hold my keys so they don't fall to the bottom of a pocket and I have to dig them out when I get back to my four wheeler. Other than that I think I just might have to get one. Thanks for all you do for the saddle hunting community.
@martydanberry2612 ... you'll be happy to know that your idea made it into the final production run. It's pretty sweet! Thanks for the idea, and feel free to take full credit for it with all your buddies! :)
Looks awesome just got a EWO one stick and 4 EWO sticks. What does the shoulder straps look like any features on those. Haven't noticed in all of the videos on this pack. Thanks brad
I took a couple quick pics of the straps before heading out to catch a plane. I can’t post a pic in the comments but I’d be happy to email them to you if you’d like.
My wife is going to ban me from watching your videos because it seems like every time I see one I end up spending more and more money. LOL Thanks for the great videos and the great products
What brand jacket have you got the 25 years of use with that is the same material as the pack? Predator? DayOne? Gray Wolf Woolen? I’ve been a predator fan since my beginning
Gray Wolf Woolens. It’s where I first discovered the material all those years ago. Since then I’ve had a bunch of stuff custom-made for me out of it: belts, hats, shirts, pants, fanny packs … and now I have my pack made with it.
Unfortunately no. We’re tossing around the idea of making a larger version down the road for guys like you who love the design and functionality but would like to slip a larger platform inside.
I just looked on Out On A Limb’s website and it lists the Ridge Runner at 16x8 … that means it would stick out of the bag 1” but the top flap would still be able to cover it and close.
@@aprustic_creations I have a couple left in stock myself if you want one right away … shoot me an email to greg@staggsinthewild.com and I’ll give you my PayPal or VenMo info
The sample versions probably did … the final production models weigh around 2.5 lbs because we used much heavier-duty parts and beefed up the construction tremendously.
There's a follow-up video explaining why we raised the price after the presale. And good luck finding any backpack made in America that doesn't cost AT LEAST $240.
@@StaggsintheWild Hah, i get how that came off, but you'll be glad to know i purchased one anyways to go with my 12" ultimate one stick. I'm just retroactively going through watching vids in anticipation for everything I've already purchased to justify the damage i just did to my poor wallet. I'm more of a buy once, cry once purchaser, so hoping to get years of life out of this bag. Originally went with one of the bigger bags g3 tree stand bag, but ultimately decided on a smaller setup shown here. I'm interested in seeing that upgrades follow-up video though
@@Junkinator Appreciate the support! I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt I had every intention and desire to keep it below $200 AND made in the USA. It just wasn't possible in producing the quality I wanted... my manufacturer asked if I wanted to skimp and cut corners to make it happen, and I told them "no". I believed the extra $45 or so would be worth it to have a much better product for the end user. Here is a link to that video ... ruclips.net/video/m_yIV0p8ofc/видео.html
Yes. That way you can interchange what you put in them, depending on which way you usually take your pack off (like if you’re right-handed or left-handed).

Congratulations on the pack Greg!

Hey man love what you are doing I ordered my staggs pack can’t wait
Appreciate that! You have no idea what means to me!
awesome
Looks awesome man. May have to add another pack to my arsenal.

I’ll look into it. The pocket that’s going to be below the SD card pockets won’t be super deep so that would work for now …

May have to give it a shot. Im running a trophy line cays now. Sometimes a kifaru kutthroat if im staying the night in the woods
Hey Greg. Love your videos. Will the Trophyline Onyx platform fit in your pack?
Not this one, but we’re looking at making a larger one for next year that will accommodate bigger platforms.

just wanted to be able to put sticks and stand on the back of it somehow didn't know if it also worked for treestand mobile hunters
hey greg, I use a beast stand with sticks, is this more a pack for saddle hunters or can stand hunters use it to put stand on as well?
Smaller stands, maybe … I feel like the Beast stand is huge in size.
Do y’all do any SRT climbing?Your videos are awesome so I hope to see your technique
We do not. Appreciate the kind words though! Good luck this season!
I have the Cruzer Seeker not the mini. Can I get the seeker in your new pack?
Unfortunately no. We’re tossing around the idea of making a larger version down the road for guys like you who love the design and functionality but would like to slip a larger platform inside.
I thought I heard they would be $199...I just looked on EWO and they are $239?...am I mistaken?
Watch this video and it’ll explain

Any idea when they will start shipping
Hoping by second week of August. I have a meeting with the manufacturer next weekend.

Any coupon code for ewo?
They don’t have any; they just try to keep prices as low as possible throughout the year.
nice looking bag, that pricetag is insane though man. vid says $195, but good luck finding that price. closer to $240

Are the outside pockets that hold your rope and need pads the same size?
