i went to 10 yr reunion, have not gone to any since. The next one coming up will be the 50th yr reunion and have no plans on attending, seeing people who are just as fake now as they were then.
(This is just my opinion)I don’t care if my high school reunion is in Las Vegas,Nevada. I don’t care if it’s in Los Angeles,CA. I don’t care if it’s in Downtown New York City,NY. The reason why I’m choosing not to attend mine, is because there was a mix of good and bad people in my school. And the people I met in college were way more mature than my older friends. Not to mention there were toxic people that I remember that I know will bring up old drama from the past that I don’t want to relive. If anything the popular kids I remember back in high school were actually a little more nicer to me compared to the people that weren’t in the popular crowd. If I’m gonna attend a social gathering, I would much rather attend where my friends I only made in college are there, It’s nobody from high school. We’re sitting in back yard in another state having an evening cookout or BBQ, and it’s just peaceful, that’s my kind of vibe, I can do a reunion like that. Have a good day✌🏻.
Haven't had one yet but I don't think I will be going, it's not that I was bullied or anything but it's also not that I really ever considered any of them friends, I mean I could go but that would really be such a lukwarm event for me that I'd much rather go to the gym or go work on some stuff in the garage, I mean could I go show up most if them now? Sure, but what's the point, just sounds boring to me....
Went to my HS reunion. It was actually really fun. Not too many people from my graduating class/year showed up(Class of 2011), but it was still fun. The most interesting things really were hearing about what the teachers were doing now, seeing who had babies, and just generally finding out where everyone wond up college wise.(More went out of state, then stayed in New York really).
