2023 USAF Thunderbirds - Chicago Airshow 8/20 (Sunday)

Your USAF Thunderbirds close out the 2023 Chicago Air & Water Show performing a spectacular high show over the city of Chicago Weather was fabulous this year few maneuvers were skipped for unknown reasons my guess because of the buildings not fully sure would of been nice to catch the behind the crowd high speed pass on the 5 plane low bomb burst also strange they never performed the 5 card loop all weekend when all days were in clear of a high show got sunburnt crazy stay tuned for 2024 your U.S.N Blue Angels will be performing

I've been going to the Chicago air and water show since I was a baby. One day I hope we get both the blue angels and the thunderbirds. Like thunderbirds kick off the show, and blue angels close the show ☺️ 😇

Same first saw the Blue Angels by navy pier my uncle took me when I was 5 ever since then I been going yearly yea it would be nice if they both perform at Chicago the same time would be the best Air and Water show lmo hopefully soon that happens

@@bmezay2003 i remembered they use to practice for about a full week too, idk why they stopped doing that. My mom can't remember and keeps convincing me they always practiced for 1-2 days and I told her no, they use to practice almost all week back in the early 2000s

The thunderbirds show felt so short to me maybe they started a bit late

@@bmezay2003oh yeah true but I was happy I got to see them now until next year with my personal favorites the blue angels

Also noticed the solos didn’t come in with the diamond at the start usually at remote shows they come in with the diamond to start the show would say due to building but in the past they always came in with the diamond maybe they wanted it to feel like the actual start at normal airbase/port shows
