@@ryanralph7494 as an update I kinda said this out of arrogance, but in a way I get how it makes you want to watch a race and catch the moments they talk about, but honestly listening to one podcast makes me just want to listen to another
Watching the show on Tuesday I was surprised to find out that Junior and Jimmie were such good friends even before they became teammates. I was also surprised to find out that straight-laced Jimmie was such a partyer!! I guess Ricky Hendrick really was a big influence with them.
Yeah for the longest time I always had JR's comment "He doesn't know what he's doing" in my mind after they wrecked at either Talladega or Daytona, lol.
I am a brand new fan - Dale Jr's appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast introduced me to the wonderful person that Dale Jr. seems to really be, and I just have to say that this Jimmie Johnson fellow is such an impressive PRESENCE as well. What charisma and charm! This conversation is just awesome. Makes me want to get into the sport. I realize how little I know about racing, but it says that Jimmie Johnson is a 7-time NASCAR champion? That means that he must be one of the greatest drivers of all-time!!!
Yep one of the greatest. His championships tie Dale Earnhardt Sr and Richard Petty. Jimmie is the best driver of the 00s for sure and early 2010s but sadly in recent years age has caught up to him it seems and hes not as great as he once was. Hes retiring after this season.
No lower than 5 for even haters. For me he is in top 3. Maybe the greatest, they changed the rules every yr because he won 5 championships in a row!! In a row!!! With the rule changes and competition I don’t know how anyone can argue him not being the very best
man Jimmie looks so young without his beard! i bet he could race another 20 years! like Mark Martin =D I'm friends with a guy, his brother was a ski champion a while back and was hired for ski lessons by Jimmie
I booed Jimmie because he was winning all the time. He was beating my guy. We went to his last race at Talladega, Texas and Daytona last year and I cheered for him like he was my guy. In a weird way, everyone wanted Jimmie to get one more win. Such a good guy and I’ll be cheering him on in IRL.
Just recently started watching your podcast.. I enjoy it very much. Grew up watching racing and watching the Earnhardts racing. I have alot of memories at Bristol...
This DEFINITELY has to be my favorite podcast episode ever! I grew up watching both of these guys race since I was like 7 years old I’m about to turn 19 this November, now if Jeff Gordon joined this omg I cannot tell you how amazing this would be
On that thing about skiing, it's either a sport you pick up quickly or you don't. When you do learn it and get it right though, it is an enjoyable sport
Would love to see Jimmy @ Leadville in 2021! Other crossover sports stars have come and of course done fantastic. I remember my first time there in 2014 pre-riding some of the course for the first time and WHAM there was Jason Sehorn from the Giants!
"One mile in and I'm getting flipped off". With your bike gear on no one knows who you are, so you're finally getting the same treatment that everyone else gets. I remember from a previous show, you said "everyone is so nice" and your wife said, "they're only nice because it's you". This is a good example of that.
i placed 7 out or 30 ,giant slalmem , in college new hamphsire nastar racing 85 ish lol .about 3seconds or less down to 10th .gave up skiing $$ did snowmobiles talk about accleration on snow . cant golf either get luck out of the box sometimes always fun .glad you rebs got some yankee sports in.down hill sking in new england is fast ice and rocks and trees.never did col.yet .now just old guy sports.
Two of the most likable people in NASCAR. You guys are my childhood. You guys are awesome.
They sound more like brothers than team mates. Glad to here the back story’s.
Man I could listen to these 2 talk to each other all day.
This is what's going to save Nascar....Jr show.
Mike Robinson Sr. It has brought me back a little bit, for sure.
As much as I love the podcast, I don't see how this makes me want to watch a race, this will be a time capsule for the history of Nascar no doubt
@@joshawott331 guess it affects everyone differently. I stopped watching in 04-05. This show brought me back last year

Dale Jr. and Jimmy Johnson are absolutely two class acts. 👍

The Rick Hendrick party story was hilarious. One of the best episodes so far!
Great stories...2 LEGENDS...

You gonna party when you get your first couple millions?

Dale: "asks question"
Jimmy: "Yup"
Read this as he said it. 🤣
Nice to see Jimmy here just being a normal dude. Thx JR I love you man.
You all are awesome smiling the hole time love you all
I feel like when Jr talked about them wanting to be teammates is basically the equivalent of wanting to be classmates with your best friend 😂😂😂
Jr really likes Jimmie, great video guy's.
Jimmy Johnson is intense! Even under relaxed situations.
Even a bigger fan of these two now! Didn’t think that was possible
Never expected to hear that sound of music here lovn it. Nascar isnt dying its evolving.

It still blows me away that I shared the pages of the September/October 2018 issue of Bicycling Magazine with Jimmie.
Wht kind of bikes are they talking about
JJ. is the best!

To the best friends that’s the way it should be

The Jeff Gordon interview was funny as hell
All this time I was a fan of you and then you bring 7X on and I'm stuttering trying to say you have Jimmie on your show.
It’s crazy how much William Byron looks like Ricky. Kinda gives me chills.
Nothing like seeing you both together. Now add Chase and we would have a great trio
This DEFINITELY has to be my favorite podcast episode ever! I grew up watching both of these guys race since I was like 7 years old I’m about to turn 19 this November, now if Jeff Gordon joined this omg I cannot tell you how amazing this would be
He's had a podcast episode with Jeff before.
Samuel Duplessis I meant with all of them together😂
@@coconut_helmet I know it was just in case you forgot lol
Don’t see how anyone can hate on Jimmie man
Good stuff, guys! Great podcast!
Loved the podcast now to watch the video lol
We have a Quail Hollow Golf Course on the road I live on in Oakham, MA. What a coincidence!
Dale in spandex lol 😂
On that thing about skiing, it's either a sport you pick up quickly or you don't. When you do learn it and get it right though, it is an enjoyable sport
Wow Jimmie Johnson looks like Jeff Gordon. And nice shot gunning beers on hole 18 sounds fun imagine if JR made a hole in one on the last hole.
Loved this one 👍🏼
The middle guy is the luckiest guy in the world.
He has a name and has been with Jr forever
Great vid Jr. Wish these were longer though

Jimmie is a good dude
Ask Jimmy Means to appear on the show!
This tbh
Bring Landon Cassill and explain why he left Hendrick.
Samet Özkan interesting
The 5 in a row and 7x feels like a dream. Its like it never happened but it did, and his last 3/4 years were just...AWFUL
My bike had a little lever to shift gears!!
So did mine!!
He says Jimmy more than that Sienfield episode. Jimmy likes Elian, Jimmy can jump!
Pat Smith Jimmie
New to watching these 🔥 pods and was wondering who that guy is thats chatting with them?
Mike Davis, Dale Jrs PR guy, his "guy"
hey the bell worked lol
What kind of bikes are they talking about...anyone know?
Tim Akers street bicycles
Probably Huffys
And all these years, a bunch of jr. Fans talking smack about JJ...
11:27 Alain Clarnival?
Oh, that's why Jim he's not doing so well, because he doesn't have his legendary beard
😂 cool Deal
Why does it feel like Jimmie and Tom brady should hang out?
Yep
I miss Jimmy racing in NASCAR. Too many prima donas in the sport now m
Biking is more dangerous than racing! I definitely would stay away from doing that Dale.
Awesome clip except 4 the gross rap music
Please never do that music in the beginning ever again. Ever.
Hot Dogs why not
Annoying. Especially with earphones.
What, can't you just pedal a real bike? This shows you are not a real athlete
Jimmy is washed up and past his prime.
Get rid of that culture rot you call music at the beginning of the show
