Be your own man. You don't have to follow others, be a leader. Make your community proud. Get an education, have a family, raise good kids. That's what being a man is all about, not holding a gun and scaring people.

This isn't the Hackney I remember...I was born in Clapton in 1947.
Stamford Hill as I was growing up down to Dalston was beautiful....Stamford Hill to Mare Street..beautiful.
Right over to Victoria Park, River Lea, beautiful.
Then in the 70s 80s Hackney became unrecognisable, up until now 2020 it will never be the same..I call it the Pitts now..only some of the big houses remain and they are not looking good.
Sorry Hackney which once was beautiful is finished.
