Did you see me taking out the 2018 Honda CB1000R? ruclips.net/video/I4npWdmf2cw/видео.html
It’s on my list this spring! Don’t you worry.
Hey love from India If you have source I would really like you to make your review on Royal Enfield line-up especially the 650 twins
The cb1000r is such a crap bike compared to this one. A ton of weight, so expensive and takes gas like there is no tomorrow.
Not yet :p
This video is a year old but it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! I been wanting this bike and I’ve been holding back because I felt I wasn’t gonna be comfortable on it , I’m 5ft7 and 130lbs. So that fact that you’re 5’8 you saved my life :)
Glad this has been of help!! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Rode it on my msf course and I’m the same size lmao, I could foot easily enough
Bought this bike a year ago and love it. Only wished that Honda had included a gear indicator as a beginners bike. After one year of riding still love it but I am ready to jump onto something bigger. Have it original, no added muffler or slip on I Love how the original muffler sounds, for me no need to spend extra on a muffler. Downside of all 300 and 400cc is that after a while you get tired of the short gears and want to jump to something bigger.
Who's here after India Launch Announcement..
🙋😆
Glad this is here for you all!! Let me know if there are any questions!!

Thanks very much for this review. I'm a new rider about to buy my first bike and this is one of the bikes at the top of my list so this was really helpful. Thanks again and be safe!
Welcome to the world of motorcycles! I'm glad this review helped out, keep me up to date when you get your bike!!
If you are from India, you are absolutely amazing! Thank you for finding this video and my channel. If you have not already, give me a like and a subscribe!
Considering getting one as a commuter but I've Never owned a motorcycle. This looks like a good choice
It's a great choice for a first motorcycle. Low entry price, low seat height, not a huge amount of power. You can get into the scene without spending huge amount.
I'm not sure if i wrote this before as I'm re-watching this video, but I am surprised you did not mention the BMW G310R as a comparison.
Bought the CB125R and never ride a bike in my life and this bike is so well balanced sharp turning and still have a good amount of punch in the engine can't wait to take it out yes the 125 doesn't even look like a 125 cc bike it is a mature looking bike it fit the name NEO sport cafe for sure
Thanks Berlin Biker ,great review!
Thank you for the positive feedback!
Hey man...since this bike is about to be launched in my country (India) could you please enlighten me with few valuable inputs since you've already ridden this machine:
1: What's the touring speed on this... without stressing the engine (let's say 6.5k rpm 6th gear)
2: What's a realistic range of this bike on a full tank?
3: How's the build quality... switches, paint quality...is it up to Honda standards?
4: Is the rear seat useful..or is it just there for formality?
5: I'm 5 feet 11.5 inches tall - weighing 80kgs ....will this feel too small for me?
Hey there, here are my thoughts:
1: What's the touring speed on this... without stressing the engine (let's say 6.5k rpm 6th gear) Top speed is about 90mph in 6th gear at around 8000. I would say a comfortable touring speed at 6500 would be around 75. But at that speed you will defintely get some vibrations through the seat and the bars. So be aware of that.
2: What's a realistic range of this bike on a full tank? As for range, I can't give you a solid answer on this. I had the bike for a day and barely dropped it 1/8th of a tank.
3: How's the build quality... switches, paint quality...is it up to Honda standards? It's a Honda. While nothing is going to overly impress you, it's a solid bike that will last.
4: Is the rear seat useful..or is it just there for formality? It's there as a formality or to take someone a short distance. Anything over 30 minutets and their butt is gonna be sore.
5: I'm 5 feet 11.5 inches tall - weighing 80kgs ....will this feel too small for me? I'm about the same as you and while it felt smaller, it did not feel tiny like a grom. It felt like a motorcycle.
Dude this channel is so underrated, you should have like thousands subs! Excellent review and scenes!
El Profe hahah I appreciate the excitement. One of these days the followers will come. I grew 305 in the past 28 days, so solid growth.
@@BurtoniMotors keep up the good work and you'll be there in no time! Currently watching all your vids!
El Profe spread around the love, spread the channel with your friends haha!
The small duke is the best bike for starters. You don't get bored with it in 6 months like these bikes.
But you'll need a engine rebuild before you get bored
I'm seriously considering the 300R as a first bike and keeping it as a daily commuter.. I think a little lightweight naked is the perfect bike if you don't need to hit the highway on the way to work.
How long is your commute? Really though, it's a solid bike. Would be great to dart around town with it.
@@BurtoniMotors About 15 minutes lol
Basically perfect in my mind. Go for it!
How much is the Yamaha mt-07 where you are at? Seems like you can get so much more bike for just a bit more.
That’s true, the bike is about 7500 euros and this bike is about 4500. So, definitely more bang for your buck but if you are just starting out go for the smaller bike first. Learn how to manage that before getting anything with real power.
I'm 5.10 108kilo
I had a cb500
Gs500
KLR 650
But I like the look of this bike.
Would I be disappointed ?
Every friday, I need to drive 1:20 to go to the camping.
Rebel 500 or 300R ?
simple short commute for work (no highway) and rides with my dad on our days off....>.
To confirm, when you say 300R which model are we talking about? CB300R, CBR300R, or the 300 Rebel?
CB300R...the one youre riding in this video :) vs. Rebel 500...
My dad rides a street glide, my budget doesnt fit harley and im also a fan of Honda and what they're releasing.
would like to hear your opinion
Haha, I’m sorry I wrote that at 6am. Should of woke up first. I would say the CB300R by far, much better seating position, better feeling power, everything about it was better in my mind. The rebel is an interesting bike, but not comfortable at all.
the royal enfield gt650 is about to drop soon.
Ashish Patel couldn’t find its price point? Unfortunately budget plays a decent roll and would like a new bike lol
Brother as a beginner, will there be an aftermarket gear indicator? I need em 😂😭
Even where i am here in canada the 2019 doesn’t come with a gear indicator.
Gear indicators aren't really a thing on smaller CC bikes. I'm sure there is an aftermarket way to do it if you really need it.
Stand in front of the view of the bike the whole time. Great job
Hi, Really nice channel. As daily driver with Vespa GTS300 I want to fully use my A2 license. What do you suggest for start? CB300R or CB500F? In Czech republic are now with similar price. I like CB300R more by design but I'm not sure about single cylinder and less power. :-)
I think the CB300R looks better, but that being said how long have you been riding your Vespa? If you have some experience riding, go for the the 500.
What bike is best (reliabilty, service cost, spare parts )
Honda cb300r or ktm duke 390?
While the KTM has better standard features, more power, and looks (debatably cooler) if cost is what matters, the Honda is winner
@@BurtoniMotors actually right now the ktm 390 duke is cheaper than honda, so i guess i'll buy the ktm, thank you.
Where do you live? Also, remember a motorcycle purchase is more than how much it is upfront. It’s insurance, it’s maintenance, plus everything else that comes along with a bike.
Right now, there is no reason to choose the Honda over the KTM, except the look.
One of the best reviews I've seen so far thanks man.
Really appreciate the comment!!
Hi, guys. I can't choice my first bike. Cb300r , mt-03 or duke 390. In my country they all have the same price, but what is better? Its very hard choice
Derguncik 26 we got same problem dude !! 🤦♀️ anxiety!!
@@MarkCocson and I forgot Kawasaki versys 300
Derguncik 26 i going for Honda ! why? Because it’s what i want it’s not what other want for me good luck to your Choice!
@@MarkCocson congratulations:)
Have you decided yet
Great review. Thanks for showing before riding it. Bike looks great. I went from a Fz07 then to a 500F and now looking for a cb300r. I love these little nimble bikes. I’m done riding fast :)
Really interesting that you are going down in power each time you upgrade? Are there any things missing from the bigger bikes you wish you had on your CB300R?
Berlin Biker. I do miss the passing power here and there on the freeway.
But for the most part I stay in slow lane. Ever since I switched to smaller bikes, I’ve stayed out of trouble. I got in a wreck doing a wheelie (my fault) so these bikes prevent me from doing stupid things, and the plus side, I can still ride and enjoy the wind on my face.
PS I was in Berlin and Dresden last month. I should’ve rented a scooter!
I completely understand that point. It’s safer to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike fast haha. But, you are one of the few out there who actually uses their head while riding. Rare talent.
What brought you to Berlin?!
Berlin Biker a cousin of mine owns a restaurant in Dresden so my first stop was in Berlin. I hung out for a couple of nights in Berlin. Went to a few Christmas markets. Had no idea how much Germany loves those things haha. The Gluhwein is awesome haha. Add me on IG bro! Eman_california_rios
Hahah yeah, Europe loves Christmas markets. Whenever I have friends come over from the US that is always the first step.
Thanks for the help I'm most likely going to buy one these
This is going to be my next (and first) motorbike.
Great first bike!!
I am dying to get this bike. I am a new biker (in fact I go for my motorcycle license on Mar 27) and this bike looks like a lot of fun to ride
Hello from India! Does it have any kind of vibrations?
Top speed run that were some vibrations in that 7000 rpm range. Nothing really crazy beyond that.
Hi you mentioned that the cbr650f is a super sports but I believe it's more of a sports tourer? The position isn't as tucked in as, say, a cbr600rr.
Agreed, when I went to ride this bike there was not CBR600RR on the German Honda site so I thought the bike was discontinued and this took its place. My bad my bad. Sorry about the confusion.
I own this beauty :)
Your review is so good man,I shared it with loads of my friends,go Honda.
Appreciate the kind words
Would this be hard to handle for a petite 5'1" female rider? I was going to get a Grom and call it a day but this bike is so cool looking.
This bike is built for you!! I would check, but I feel like the seat height will be exactly the same between the two.
@@BurtoniMotors just following up here, i sat on one and I was on my tippy toes :( grom it is!
Is the GROM really that much shorter? Crazy. Good to know.
@@BurtoniMotors Only by 1.5" I think, but when you're as short as me that makes a big difference apparently :( I haven't given up on it! Will be looking into maybe getting it next year if there's an after market lower seat available or a lowering kit.
@@SariElzweig Hey, I'm 5'3" and so do you think it's fine enough for me? Even I too was going for the Grom and then make it all custom with the exhausts and everything. But yeah, this one just dropped my cup of tea.
Loved when this video came out, gave me a good idea of what to expect in India
I'm glad I could be of help!! Let me know if you decide to pick one up yourself!
Hi, great video! I already bought my CB300R. Just waiting for the stand to call me and tell me it's there, maybe after 10 days I'll get that call. So excited! Anyway, here goes my only question. What about fuel consumptions? Do you have any idea what were your consumptions during that 20 minutes ride? Keep up the work!
I don't believe the fuel consumption ever registered while I was riding. The bike is light and Honda knows how to build an engine, I feel like city fuel consumption will be pretty solid.
Thank you for the testing ! Very helpful.
May i suggest that you cut some of the less interesting parts of the video like when waiting at the redlight for ages. It would make the video even more enjoyable.
Great suggestion! Will definitely keep this in mind during my next few reviews!!
Do you think they'll ever release a 500cc+ version?
L.A. Cayabyab they do, it’s called a CB-500F
BeaglePower G :( but it ugggglaaaay. Ok not super ugly but it needs updated neo Cafe look
I would expect a 650 version soon using the same power plant that’s in the other mid ranged bikes.
L.A. Cayabyab do you know where it’s made/Assemble . ??, Thailand perhaps to keep the price down ??, I doubt its Japan
Yes, a 500cc would be perfect. The cb500f is good, but it doesn't have the looks of this. And yea, pretty sure this is Thailand built, my cbr250 was and I think all of their smaller bikes are Thai made
Is this bike more of a standard siting position (smiler to the rebel) or more of a sport bike with your feet back more (ninja)
Standard sitting position, very upright.
Him: Goes through list of bikes to compare
Me: patiently wait for the G310R comparison.
Him: Husky
Great point, never brought up the BMW G310R. Honestly, I don't have a lot of experience with BMW Motorcycles as a brand outside of the R nineT Racer I rode for a few hours.
@@BurtoniMotors You should try to get your hands on one! I'm torn between buying a G310R or a CB300R. I can't find anyone on RUclips making a ride experience comparison video. It'd be my first bike so it'd be nice for someone that's been riding for a while to compare them instead of a salesman at a dealership. Keep up the great videos man!
Should I buy this or a yamaha xj6n for my first bike? I love this bike(cb300) except the sound :)
I'd go with the Honda, it looks better IMO. Also, listen to this: ruclips.net/video/GyeEenlPHiM/видео.html a pipe really transform the experience.
very nice review. keep it up man!
Thanks for the kind words!
is there a gear position indicator? will it be comfortable on a 3-4 hour ride?
What kind of riding for 3-4 hours? Highway use? No. Backroads where you don't really get above 100kmh? absolutely.
I stand 4'11 looking for something I can sit comfortably and support when needed. Is this short enough for me? Thanks in advance!
It was a fairly short bike, I think you should not have an issue with it.
Beautiful way of presentation dude..
Thank you!
Can I go long distance like 200km in a highway comfortably with this?
200km at highway speeds? Meh, that might be a bit of a stretch honestly. Might not be the most comfortable.
Great review Mate really. Well done, nice channel. The bike really looks the part. Greetings from South Australia. Just gave you a sub.
Thank you for the comment! Really appreciate you taking the time to send it over. How is the riding in Australia?

Support from India mate...
Cheers👍
Thanks for the support!!
Good review - and best thing demoed was how handy this thing is around town. Definitely the better alternative to a scooter (and honda's own sh300 costs more). Good second bike for commuting.
100% agree. I think this would be a solid bike for getting around town (minus highway duty) but I was also thinking about the new Honda Monkey as well!
Berlin Biker , the 300 would be better for the 50km hiway I'd do before hitting London. But if the monkey had a 175cc motor...
I would call this the casual bike. Casual ride for the weekends hehe. Nice review mate.
Appreciate the comment Alca!
@@BurtoniMotors my pleasure mate. 😊
Should I get a KTM Duke 250 or this one ???
Solid question, is there a large price difference between the two in your country?
@@BurtoniMotors the KTM comes at 180k on road price but the Honda is going to be released at 200k to 250k so will the Honda be worth spending that much ?? I already have ridden a Duke 200 my friend owns that's why I am interested in the Duke 250
That’s really interesting that the KTM is cheaper. I love KTM products, but have never ridden the 200/250. I would assume that the KTM has nicer components, do you know how they stack up?
Depois da cb300 no Brasil fiquei com trauma da Honda, yamaha é só alegria.
What Yamaha do you ride in Brasil?
Sem falar que a Honda continua insistindo com o fraco monocilíndrico dela, MT-03 e Z300 agradecem!!!!
Cheaper to produce a 1 cylinder engine, don't think we will see a 2 cylinder 300cc engine anytime soon from a big manufacture.
@@BurtoniMotors 🤔 Yamaha and Kawasaki are small?
cara vc é muito mal informado esse motor é totalmente novo
Is there any vibration?
Its a Honda not KTM or apache
It’s not crazy.
It's not Royal Shitfield so no chance of any vibrations.
@@thedarknight1809 Before bad mouthing the RE, test ride the new 650s once.
@@venkateshr4432 when its 300 cc and above with single cylinder producing 30 bhp and more there will be vibration around 7500 rpm.
Apache rr310 bmw310 ktm all vibrate.
And this too vibrates around 7000 rpm
@3:05 How did you make both indicators lit?
If I'm not mistaken, if you turn the key on but not start the engine they stay on.
Does the rear seat feel comfortable for the people sit behind??
I did not have anyone sit on it with me, but it felt like the same amount of padding as the main sitting position. Should not be too shabby.
I'm the same height as you. Subscribed. Will give me a fair idea of bike dimensions in relation to someone my height, for future as well.
I'm 174 cm and about 170lbs / 77kgs.
Vibration and any Heating issue in this Bike ??
There is a bit of a vibration when you are north of 7500 rpms (but to be expected from such a single). I have no issue with heating and was riding on a very warm day in the summer.
thanks to you and your awareness
if I ask which is better ktm390 or honda cb300 ?
I have unfortunately never ridden the KTM 390, but I’ll tell you growing up riding KTMs that they have a certain level of excellence that I really like. Nicer breaks, nicer bars, grips, etc. stuff like that.
But all that comes with a price premium. You have to balance what is worth it.
Thanks for your advice √
Viewers from india increasing drastically lol
It's amazing! Y'all are amazing.
Burtoni Motors thank you for the kind words
11:56 front brake by wire what???
Nice bike.
Enough high speed on the perfect frame
Really dont like race platform with all plastic all around to worry about when going over road barriers
Just love naked bikes but its hard to find it with engines smaller than 750
Have you looked at the Honda CB650R or CB500F? Both great smaller naked bikes, but bigger than the 300.
3 mins of just the looks and like 10 mins of him just like his daily life
Use your words.
Nicely done! Make a detailed video on the RE Interceptor and GT 650.
I would absolutely love to do that. The GT is a bike I was thinking about adding to my own garage this year.
Berlin Biker waiting in anticipation.
Haha me too! I spent some time on their website today just poking around.
What are you, from Connecticut, or something? Love the singing, "bet your bottom dollar" lmao... great review. Thanks!!
Haha, from Colorado originally. Glad you liked the review!
@@BurtoniMotors are those South Park guys doing good ? Haha
It’s a real town. It’s sad. Don’t know the boys, I’m not cool enough.
At the moment i' riding the cb 125F (3 months), but i'm already waiting to finish the loan to sell the moto, take the "A" licence and get a loan for this cb 300r. I'm from Portugal and here we can ride 125cc with car licence, that's why i (and many others) started on a 125cc, for giving up or get in love for motorcycles
It’s a solid bike to learn on, but don’t upgrade just because you want a faster bike. Learn the basics, get really good at them, then once you’ve “conquered” the bike then upgrade.
Berlin Biker Thanks for the advice. The major point on the upgrade for me is passing the traffic easly, without pushing to hard or passing cars in shorters distances
The answer is always, Turbo. haha just kidding, that makes sense the extra power is definitely noticeable.
Man Make Royal Enfield Interceptor and Continental GT Review.. Then U can see This Channel Boom..
Honestly, the GT is a bike I've been thinking about buying this next season. Especially in the Mister Clean (chrome) paint scheme.
Single cylinder engine is the best way to ensure low maintenance.
I find it funny how the silver plastic covering the radiator is so big the the radiator it self is so small
Very good video. Cheers!
Appreciate the feedback!
Those white middle lines confuse me. Everything is white. No yellow lines to separate the two way traffic.
Welcome to America where we have the lines and literally no one followers them.
I weigh 285 pounds. Should I go with this or mt07? Thanks for a great review!!
+Charlie Garcia how tall are you? The CB300R is a great bike, but definitely on the smaller side. Even compared to the MT07, which I would also consider to be on the smaller side as wel.
I am 5' 10" this would be my first bike.
+Charlie Garcia take a look at the CB500F, it has the styling of both bikes. Bigger than the 300, less power than the MT07. Should be a solid bike in the middle.
Thank you for the quick response. Liked and subbed!!
Appreciate it! Let me know what your thoughts on the CB500F are! I have been actually trying to ride it because I think it's a really solid beginners bike.
Don’t stand in front of the bike! Please stand to the side...great informative report.
Next time I'll be better. Promise.
How'd you end up in Germany? You sound like your from northern United States? Possibly p.a or Ohio?

It's definitely small. Comfortable, for short jaunts around town. Anything more that might be asking a lot.
@@BurtoniMotors thanks dude 😊
good review, how tall are you, I`m 184cm, and I`m afraid it`s gonna be small for me?

5’8” not 5’2” hahah. I’m short, not that short.
@@BurtoniMotors😂😂
I was looking at one of these at my local dealer yesterday. What a cool looking bike! I was very impressed. Small bikes have really come a long way in the last few years, it seems. I have a 2002 Suzuki GZ250 that seems so old fashioned now. One thing I noticed, when he revs it in the video, is it just me or does It sound like it might stall for a moment before returning to idle speed? Perhaps a fueling issue?
The small bikes are becoming so good looking, completely agree. The amount of sub-400cc bikes on the markets have exploded, they had to style them up nice and fancy to get people to consider them.
Great video! Thanks
+Hugo Mora glad you enjoyed it!!
I love it, but a 500cc version would be my cup'o'tea. And I noticed that too, the shift lever looks tiny or not a lot of space in relation to the peg. I had a cbr250 and don't remember the shift lever being small or my boot being cumbersome..hmm
+ROBBIE RACER I would love to see this with the 600cc power plant. that would be solid.
Gear indicators are for racing and have no practical street application. You have zero need for it. If you're bogging down the engine figure it out and downshift. The last thing you need is another distraction
Your brain will remember with experience
Agreed, being able to hear when to shift is a much better way to ride a motorcycle. I was simply calling it out because most of the bikes I ride nowadays have it so it caught me off guard a bit.
Damn! Those signal lights are sick. I want a pair for the fronts on my FZ07! Hahah
+Tenaciousdomi they are so good right?! Honda did such a good job with the CB line.
Berlin Biker I wholeheartedly agree. See you on the gram! @esplaintomehdis
Tenaciousdomi right? The only thing that i love most of this bike is headlamp nad signal light😘
Can you answer me, is the bike small for 184 cm tall guy?
Hmm, you might be a bit cramped while sitting on it. I'm about 176 and it felt a bit small. If you can get on one at the dealership, that might be helpful.
Im 6'4 do you think i would be comfortable on that bike i would love to buy one
I honestly feel like you might be a bit too tall for the bike. It’s a smaller biker after all. Have you got a chance to head to the dealership to see how you fit?
Is it possible to install clubman handlebars on cb300r??
I don't see why not? As long as the bars clear the plastics and clusters, you should be good to go.
@@BurtoniMotors thanks for the reply, sir. what would you recommend btw cb300r and husqvarna 401?
@@Jacksmelt The CB300R would be easier to ride because it has the more relaxed seating cover and I'm assuming way less $$$ than the Husky 401.
nice thanks for the review. it bothers me a bit that there's no gear position indicator. the 125 has one and looks like its the same dash. i wonder if Honda would install the 125 dash if asked
+Amro Satti it’s really weird that it’s not there? No reason that I can think of why they would not include it.
Here www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/range/street/cb300r/specifications.html it says it includes it and I remember seeing somewhere that it might be an option that needs to be programmed in.
yeah I read the same on the spanish website. but I dont know if it is a mistake. I will ask the local Honda dealer
What is the name of the instrumental in the beginning of the video ?
50% more (mt07) is not "a little more expensive" :)
What would this motorcycle perfect would be to add the DCT transmission as a option witch would render the gear indicator pointless and also keep the manual transmission for the purists and up the engine to a true 300cc and add a full wind screen from the factory and give you half a gallon larger fuel tank.
The DCT Transmission is definitely an interesting idea as it could bring sales from scooter owners over to it. I wonder if it's too expensive for them to do so and if so would bring the price too high to stay competitive?
As for the larger tank and windscreen, they kind of have that with the CB500X? If they did it to this bike it would lose all of it's neo naked look.
Berlin Biker the Honda NC750 with DCT is around a thousand dollars more than the manual.
And as for fuel tank part a 1/2 gallon increase would change the look that much increase in height mainly but some in width to.
Is this a long tourer bike??? For 600 kms for 10 days daily??? A long tourer??
Like would it compare to a BMW GS? Absolutely not. Could you do 600km in 10 days on it? Absolutely. It might not be the most comfortable.
Damn that’s a phattt ass licenses plate
Put a wind cutting cap on that mick of yours for better quality sound
its a nice bike in mountain road and city.
Enough power for the mountains?
nice review, i have the 1st online reviews on youtube of this bike :) it is in Portuguese but it was world premiere :) regards
Really cool, but how do you know it was the first?
if only it would sound like benelli 302... why only bmw and benelli decided to make 2 cylinder sound good
