Yes, unfortunately you have to go thru immigration in order to get to the hotel. So there’s an Japanese app now you can use to expedite the process.

can i stay in hotel villa fontaine for 12hrs ? for a 15hrs layover in haneda.
Yes you can. I had a 15 hour layover and we stayed. You have to go thru immigration.

@coffeeboy091977 you can book on any travel website that has the hotel and walk in. There will always be someone there at the kiosks during check-in. I will advise you to exercise patience due to language barrier.

Yes. Unfortunately to get into Japan period you have to go thru customs. We had a 10 hour stop over and still had to go thru customs.
