it's not such a big secret :) there is a channel called "digdat0" with lots of videos on how to do it. Check the link in my description above. If you still have questions let me know! REPLY
Awesome video. Keep them coming!! And good on you for having fun engaging in your hobby and not letting all the naysayers get you down. Don't ever let anyone talk you out of this hobby.
An advice, when you descent fast, move forward, or backward in the same time. The drone will avoid its own turbulences. Otherwise the drone constantly try to stabilize. This is what is visible at 7:00, but I assume you had this during all descent. (camera is stable, so you just dont see it) I believe that with your rate of descent, you could theoretically loose the control of your drone. ;)
I wondered this even before I got my DJI Mavic Pro and my Spark. They both seem to descend perfectly though. I have tried descending at an angle downwards and it doesn’t seem much different. I often need to descend rapidly and there seems to be no way to do so. You’d think that would be simple!
There are many arguments to support the irresponsibility of "record" flying with LiPo battery-driven multi rotors. However, the MOST important is HOW this will be perceived by those who NEED to make rules. These are the examples used to point to the DANGER of DRONES. Sure ... odds of collision low. Visibility great, etc. However, claims as to "no aircraft within 100km" is simply ridiculous, no one could really know for certain. And this "wind data" is (at least) 3 hrs behind "real time,' so this means little. Also, there is simply NO WAY this Mavic could have gotten out of the way of a pilot who decided to take his plane up from the nearby airport. Before this stratospheric Mavic could descend from 8,000 ft, a pilot angered sat the nearby field (the runway clearly visible in the middle ground) could hop into his private aircraft, taxi the runway and get airborne. And that airport is no more than what ... 1.5 miles from ground zero? Anyway, all of this is moot. The many who are politically or emotionally predisposed to prohibit these little aircraft from flying at points across the planet, will point to precisely these sorts of FAME-motivated (and RUclips traffic-driven) stunts to restrict the rest of us who ... unfortunately ... must live within the laws established by such politically and emotionally motivated a-holes as society produced in great abundance. So ... a BIG THANKS for making all of our Part 107 lives more difficult. Hope the fame lasts long enough for you to gain some understanding of WHY this is not cool. It is only COOL for you, and those who live vicariously through such stunts done by others. These are not heroes, they're just pains in the ass for the rest of us WORKING professionals. Even worse, others even less conscious will see this video and will fall over each in their rush to do even dumber stunts. Thanks again. Oh ... nice footage.
The overcorrect warning means that the motors are drawing to much current at once from the battery and thus damaging the lithium packs. Probably because the drone needs to stabilise itself for heavy wind while you're asking it to ascent as well. Ascending at a lower speed might prevent that message from showing.
Just want to mention, that I loved the fact, you flew the drone over the water first, so if the drone somehow drop down (battery, malfunction, whatever) - you maybe lose the drone in the ocean but you less likely bring someone in danger. Props for that :)
I think he is already bringing people in danger by flying the drone to commercial flight altitudes. In Europe where I live it’s illegal to fly the drone more than 100m above the ground.
@@liverpooldude1609 Dude you are so wrong. Go look again and look at the pitch angle on the screen. Just cuz you didn't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
The glide slope for descent towards an airport can be up to 100 miles long for an aircraft that reduces throttles to flight idle at 33,000 feet AGL to commence its standard "rule of three" descent towards its destination airport. At 20 miles from the airport, as the aircraft aligns itself with the ILS feather located on short finals, the aircraft will typically be at about 2,500 feet AGL as it drops its landing gear, which is less than 1,000 meters of altitude. Theoretically, a drone flying 1,000 meters up could wind up getting ingested into a jet aircraft engine's intake as much as 20 miles from the nearest airport.
hey, how did you manage to get 8m/s vertical speed and how did you get pass 500m limit?? also did you use an extra battery to have so much more energy??
Yeah, the 400 foot restriction is just a guideline. Class G airspace can extend up to 1200 feet AGL, so there shouldn't be any legal restriction flying a drone at least that high. Where the whole legal thing gets a bit hazy, IMHO is flying in mountainous terrain. What happens if you start flying a drone on top of a 14,000 foot mountain, get it up to 20 feet or so, and then fly it over the valley below the mountain, flying straight and level? Suddenly you're at, say, 8,000 feet AGL. Are you legal or not? I think the FAA is still trying to wrap their collective brains around this problem. I've done this with my drone (a DJI Mavic Pro). Was I "legal" once my drone was over the valley at 8000' AGL? Heck, I dunno. But it made for a heck of a good video. And then there is the case of cities that ban drones from flying over parks. They really can't do that; the FAA controls the airspace over the parks, not the cities, but many, if not most, city officials don't realize this. What the city officials CAN do is prohibit people from taking off their drones in a public park, since they control the park grounds. But it's still possible, I believe, to launch your drone outside of a public park and fly over it. Where I live (Bozeman, Montana) I wanted to fly my drone in one of the public parks where the church I go to was holding a function. I called city to clarify what the rules were of launching a drone. Nobody could tell me. I kept getting transferred to another department. Finally I was transferred to a guy who is a private pilot like me, knows the city (and FAA) rules and simply told me, "There are no restrictions. Just fly by FAA rules and guidelines". And there's that sticky little word: "Guidelines". What it mainly comes down to is common sense. Flying a drone over isolated island with little, if any, air traffic at 3000 meters is a whole different animal than doing the same thing over New York City, where 3000 meters would put you in, or at least through, Class B airspace, where a working transponder is required. How many drones have transponders on board? The whole thing is a good source of endless debate. And, as I said, a good dose of common sense is, IMHO, mandatory.
amazing! what a feat for mavic pro... will see more of your older vids and in the future.. and i just got mine a week ago and I can't do that here in NY and as you know how air traffic is so very busy here... again, you got great vids!
@@JonathanLong he says no plane within 60 miles when initiated the flight... however any plane at cruise speed can easily do those 60 miles in 10 minutes.
Lotta drone rights activists in here pretending to know all kinds of aviation laws. Doesn't matter, this is still reckless and going to get someone killed
Sorry but that is MILOS control zone, you did infringe in controlled airspace. There is a training area at MILOS 15 miles out to the ocean; you could fly there without imposing any danger to ongoing traffic. Also remember altitude cruising order starts at 3500 for VFR flights. Stay smart fly safe.
@@brettstrickland864 I'll link you a video where you can take all the restrictions off, it's fairly easy all you need is a PC. You can change the top speed, falling speed, acceleration etc. Currently have my mavic to fall at 20mph, which is basically motors off but still stable
Just wonder how you could be sure than there were "no aircraft in a 200 mile radius"?If you use flightradar24 or similar websites that you should be aware of what they display. Not all aircraft are ADS-B out equipped.
B live it or not, you will never see a Fokker 100 or 70 on flightradar because they don't have ADS-B out (among other types) yet they are flying in that region for sure. You might mix up mode c with mode s..
Lon Denard transponder mode C has nothing to do with NOT notifying ATC, but as you are a pilot yourself you should know. Ridiculing basic safety regulations doesn't do anyone a favour, if you look into the statistics of very close encounters between aircraft and UAV you understand, they are alarming. And the first collisions already happened, one in Canada and one in Germany. Oh, and I happen to fly Greek airspace overhead those islands with hundreds of passengers.
Lon Denard here in Europe all of your activities require a license, be it skydiving or paragliding. Compare the statistics I was referring to (United Kingdom rules with reporting these incidents) with those of aircraft near-misses and you see a different picture. Reminds me of "laser attacks" which are increasing to an alarming rate.
judging that there is a gretare risk of two aircraft colliding than a collision between aircraft and a drone is neglecting a few facts: Aircraft under IFR over a certain size have TCAS (nothing to do with ADS-B out..) which enables them to avoid each other, while drones are completely out of the picture. The guy on Milos may pose a verey remote risk, but what about a guy on another island who is inspired by the (wrong) "I can see aircraft coming" statement? The schedule on the island itself doesn't help if your location is right below heavy in- and outbound traffic to the big airport on the neighbour island. And there's a lot of traffic to the Greek islands. About an actual collicion: A UK study has confirmed that a helicopter can be downed by the impact of a consumer drone, and airplanes can be seriously damaged. especially windshield and propeller; while a jet will survive the impact the brushless motors or the batteries of even a small drone would damage a jet engine to the extent where a shutdown may be necessary. I wouldn't want to be in the place of that drone operator. Regarding the US citizens and their need to protect themselves from the government (especially the second amendment of the constitution) I am not entering a discussion here. You can compare the death rate with other western countries by yourselves.
Not sure I understand the anti drone people, there are loads of planes that operate with no transponders, no radar, no nothing. My friend flies a Cessna and it only has a handful of dials in it. I have another friend who has a Mosquito that he lands in his back yard! How can the argument against drones be that "nobody knows they are there"? None of the guys without radar know where the others guys without radar are either, when I was a boy the crop dusters didn't even have radios in them, those guys didn't call the FAA to spray for bugs. Some of you guys act like drones are crashing planes left and right, there hasn't been a single death from a drone. Birds are way heavier, bone and sinew is much stronger than plastic. By the Federal Aviation Administration's own estimate, only 20 percent of bird strike incidents show up in the FAA's voluntary registry, and it's unlikely that they're a representative sample. US Airways Flight 1549 was flown into a flock and it took at least 3 (though it could have been more) 8 pound Canadian Geese, birds are a concern but the planes are designed for it. To make the argument that drones are a danger of such magnitude they need regulated out of existence is simply ridiculous.
Nothing antidrone there, but safety is a issue many here don`t regard as important. the laws are made for everyone and protect everyone, but not everyone follows the law, that is why we have prisons, and a lot of lawbreakers sit in prisons because they didn`t follow the law, or caused misery to other people.....think again before flying a drone higher than the law describes... even a small stone thrown from a bridge towards the highway can cause a serious accident
@@Deutsche_1 You didn't address a single point I had regarding the inconsistencies in the anti drone rhetoric, not one. Every argument against drones is already present in manned aircraft. I'm not interested in your deflection about prisons or people who occupy them. I have manned aircraft flying below 400 feet above my house on a regular basis, my home is not on a departure or approach. Yet the LAW says manned flights have to stay above 500.
Obviously this wasn't in the U.S. I can't comment on other countries laws as I'm not familar with them. However in the U.S there are different air spaces that are all classified differently. You friends that you are referring to (if in the U.S) must be flying in class G airspace which is below 700ft AGL, or outside of any class of airspace. You must have clearance to fly into any class of airspace that isn't G. Doing so without clearance is a serious crime with a hefty jail sentence. You'd be surprised how much of U.S airspace is NOT class G.
@@MickyTicky2x4 I live exactly 4.986 miles from an International airport. I'm in controlled (class d) airspace and have to apply for permission every three days to fly. The drones software requires it in order to take off, a farther 5 miles out is class E. The flight app I use shows it as light blue and orange. I'm required to stay under 400 feet leaving a 100 foot buffer for manned aircraft, I've done model RC for 25 years. If there were laws being enforced prior to the "drone invasion of 2006" they were never enforced in my neck of the woods. When I was a kid my dads buddies would put cameras on the big models (6 foot wing spans) for fun, this was near Selfridge Air Force Base mind you. My knowledge for manned aircraft and where and how high they can fly is limited to what I need to know to fly in 2019. Prior to drone ownership I would pack up my heli, find a big field, gas it up and fly. Manned aircraft are routinely under 400 feet where I fly my drone. Last spring I had a Sheriffs helicopter hovering over our neighborhood grocery store at what had to be 100 feet, I could have hit it with a thrown baseball. My friend with the Cessna keeps his plane at the same international airport. My friend with the mosquito lives in a smaller township but he sure isn't rural (I don't know what class airspace he is in). If I were a betting man, the crop duster guys didn't give a shit one way or the other.

Wow dude. Awesome! And really fitting color grading !!! Looks like a computer game from the top! Thanks for that information. Didn't know, that a drone can get that high
Pretty risky move considering the altitude you reached. Those Greek islands have a lot of aircraft traffic with tourists. I guess Greece doesn’t enforce drone operations laws?
This information is so Great to know , this is very informative and Educational , this is what you call First Class in my opinion . I would have seen this video a while back and never paid it much attention because I just wasn't interested but now I am a lot smarter and I subbed You and gave it a like , take care and Keep this great work going my Friend , take care .
We all know how cool it is to fly high above the ground, but it's just a big risk. Something can always happen. First, I like your Video, you put much effort in it, but there are always two sides of the medal. Here in Germany you just can't fly anymore, there are so many people which call the police because the felt threatened or observed. It's just a shame. Four years ago, before the big drone hype, people showed interest in our hobby and now it's completely different. Thanks to media with their horrific documentations, to idiots with no respect for rules or private properties. I guess in a few years drone flying will be illegal. So please think about the stuff you upload. It will inspire stupid kids to do the same. Have a nice one 👍 and safe flying
let me share my thoughts here. Did those people who call the police in Germany read somewhere that a drone put down a plane or something? I doubt.....Did they hear that there was an accident? again I doubt. They feel threatened from what? From the camera of the drone I guess.....not from the drone itself. Which is a totally different matter. To be honest, I believe there will always be a kid or a grown up who will try to do something without taking the necessary precautions. Somebody sees a supercar going 300+ on the German autobahn might try doing the same at home. Does that mean we should cancel the no limit autobahns? I don't think so. I really appreciate your input, and up to a certain point I could say that I agree with you. I hope the rules will get softer there and you can enjoy your bird much more!
B live it Thanks for the Answer! In Fact, they do. There was an incident with a Canadian airplane, which was the reason a old lady called the police last time i flew in the local park. It's really embarrassing. Another Time, again a old Lady, comes up to me and asked me why I was filming her.. it was total stupid and I told her that Im just flying around and use the fpv as orientation, that every mobile phone with a camera could film her too. She refused to understand me. In Germany there are two "public legal tv hosts" beside of the privat ones. Mostly watched by old people. ZDF and ARD. They do such a hate speech in their tv reports, it's just ridiculous... people look at me like Im a criminal just because a fly a drone... Excuse my bad English Edit: The bad news about the Autobahn is : they think about a so called Tempolimit, Speedlimit..
first of all thank you for your input to my channel !!! I would like to start with what you just said about the no limit autobahns.....please oh please let that NOT be true.....each and every country in this planet has some special characteristics.....going 300+ with a car in total safety is a German thing and should remain UNTOUCHED.... As for those older ladies there is nothing you can do really.... they can't keep up with new technology and they see drones as something extraterrestrial.....As for your English, they are quite perfect so stop worrying!!
Good post, some people just like to feel important by telling others what they should or shouldn't do. They have no idea of the situation, laws there, flight routes, etc., I'm glad you did it! Hope to see more video's from you.
B live it I agree I believe you have responsibility of checking flights on your island but some stupid people see this kind of videos and try same thing checking nothing. Maybe you'll never risk air traffic but believe me there are a lot of irresponsible people there.
B live it Well, more power to ya! It'll be a little while until I'm brave enough to live that free. Working towards it though. Thanks for the quick reply.
Hello bro please can you tell me how to get my phantom 4 to do this I just bought my drone and would really like it to be able to go this high not sure if I’d ever go that high but it’s nice to have please get back to me man amazing video I love it this video actually made me buy a drone !

Very well explained! Filmed and produced!! Thanks for the experience! One question, do you still have the old firmware version? Or have the last one? Javier.
i am version 0.900 and it works very smooth!! Yes there is a very simple way to rollback firmware. Check the channel of "digdat0". You will find everything there! Come back to me if you have difficulties. Keep in mind that you must NOT update to latest dji go 4 app and also you must NOT update to the latest version of dji assistant 2
Wow, awesome video. This reaffirms my decision of recently purchasing a Mavic Pro and the quality of it. I have yet to fly it because I have been practicing and acquiring skills with a toy drone. Thanks again for the beautiful video !!!
I can tell you from personal experience that it is idiot proof.....not that you can guarantee 100% that you'll never have a problem, but if you take it outside into a wide open area you'll be AMAZED at how easy this thing is to fly. keep it on beginner mode, keep all sensors turned on....keep it easy to start....but don't be afraid of your drone! she's amazing!
I think a lot of people are also missing the point that though a drone may not do serious to a single or twin engine aircraft (it could, but it may not), that drone falling from the sky after a collision could do some serious harm to people on the ground, further reinforcing extreme caution near populated areas. Not saying this could have been the case here, but I think it's important that we keep talking about the safety concerns so that we, as drone operators, can better put people's minds at ease.
This is some truely cool stuff. Can you try to get to a record like 3-4km high? Then do a CSC and let the bird free-fall to a few hundred meters, restart her, and land safely. That would be awesome.
My phantom 3 malfunctioned and made it to 10,100'ft and made it back home. I have proof of this on my dji flight records. Still, this 8200'ft is impressive. I beatcha. Ha
@@NoName-cv3qo it was a malfunction, i was still very new to drone flying, i was lucky to get it back. 3% battery. It is listed in my flight record as 10,100'ft.
Hi Tom, I had a similar experience Reaching just over 8000’ft Fortunately the return to home engaged but battery died about 1000’ft as it was fighting wind whilst descending and crashed into heathers, Bent an arm and snapped few propellers. Highway rest areas outside city limits, are also a long way from airports and hospitals. So i can fly up to 1600' and my spark can go a little over a mile. Lon Denard incorrect if you dont correspond with the FAA's guidelines and you are cought conequences Range from a fine to loosing your drone. If you dont belive me i would love to tell you the "guideline"
Lon Denard I now see I was mistaken but when I clicked on this video to respond to your comment. There was a ad ruining... this would make the flight nolonger recreational because ads make money and that puts you in part 107 guidlines. And even if it is recreational in the US by registering a drone on the certificate it states that you therefore agree to abide by all guidelines.
Awww. That was brief up there. I like these high altitude shots. It's like a live and high quality version of Google Earth/Map. I still see the water waves and boat trails. I just wish DJI enables this high altitude modes outside high risk zones. My Mavic wouldn't mind stressing the motors as it is rarely used.
A plane doenst fly at 2500m, at least not a commercial plane unless it has problems or its near an airport. Nice video. Didnt know that these drones could fly this high.
Fly that high? Lol, these drones are amazing. It will go past that height. I think someone has such a video on youtube. The only thing here is it will take only one drone someday to bring down a plane and that will make big news around the world and tighten laws on drones.
Of course the fly in that altitude for the descent to the airports of Paros, Naxos, Myconos and Santorini JTR. And of course to Milos. Also there are often training flights that come in directly in the position, where this stupid guy was flying. A bad sample for the drone community. And the video is not even great...
No it's not. If you're not in any special zone (airports, military, etc), you can fly up to 9500 feet theoretically, but the drone should also remain visible for the observator. There is no law which would specify the ceiling altitude for VLOS drone flights.
Lon Denard No, you must stay inside doors at all times and not experience life. How dare you live life to the fullest extent. Wouldn't you rather die at 98 years old knowing you led a mundane and boring life?
Lon Denard Right on brother. I ride a motorcycle, drag race, and scuba dive. I get shit all the time from my family that I'm going to die. You're right, the chance is low if you're cautious. And I'd rather love to 45 having lived a full life than to live to 98 having lived a boring and mundane one. "I would rather live on my feet than die on my knees."
Jason Harris I don't either. I take many precautions before I go out riding. But I too would rather die doing something I loved than to die of old age not having lived a full life.
I slowed my climb rate by about 2mph and I don't get nearly as many max speed and over-current warnings anymore on ascent. That's an excellent location for a high altitude shot, very nice!
Great view from way up there, I too have my Mavic modified. in your sport mode-plus, is your descending really fast also? Mine drops crazy fast. I haven't pushed the limits like you have, Im afraid to have it drop out of the sky
glad you liked it! Mine goes down at a speed of 6m/s (This is how I set it up). it is fast but you should not worry. It uses just 12% battery to come down from 2.500m so you are quite safe. i suggest you try little by little to gain confidence with your bird!
Mikel Martin How does one go about this Mod? I need to be able to fly higher in mountainous areas where there wouldn't be any aircraft issues, please inform.
Dave Durkee The mavic will max out at 1640 feet without any mods,. Just change your settings on your app. The original poster wrote the key word to search for if you wanted to modify the sittings, But im afraid if your updated with newer versions of the firmware nothing is going to help.
Mikel Martin yeah I know it will max out there and how to change that in the app, that’s what I was asking how to mod to change. Original poster shared a key word, ok... that’s not real helpful, where? Somewhere in the 100 some comments?? Somewhere else? Guess I missed it. Thanks for not being helpful. No I’m not a latest firmware kind of guy, who would be when it seems the latest is usually a downgrade not an upgrade. Jamie oxenham government overreach Is not a good thing if you read the description you can clearly see that he is not harming anyone and there is no possibility of an aircraft collision or interference with practically anything
@@rileywags This really depends on how you look at it. There are curtain rules sat up by government we all should follow. I dont say those rules are well made or that they suits our needs. Together with more easy rules and restrictions - since, you probably know what you do after registration and identification process.

You know you have a good drone when you see the people in the space station waving at you!
@@cuuppaajoe you don't say!
That was the reason i did that. Thank u!!

Awesome video. Planes fly at an altitude of 30,000 feet and above. Unless your near an air port then there is no problem.
I predict I'll die of a heart attack with a drone controller in my hands.

Wow, we are not allow to fly over 400 feet in USA. Nice to see the limits of the system, thanks for the video upload.
thank YOU for watching it. Glad you enjoyed it!
In Romania we have to fly it MORE than 150 meters (altitude) not under😂
Holly cow! That was outstanding!!!! What a great view!!!! Thanks a lot!!!

Just wonder how you could be sure than there were "no aircraft in a 200 mile radius"?If you use flightradar24 or similar websites that you should be aware of what they display. Not all aircraft are ADS-B out equipped.
you cannot fly an airplane between mainland and islands without ADS-B transmitter. So it is quite safe.
Reminds me of "laser attacks" which are increasing to an alarming rate.
judging that there is a gretare risk of two aircraft colliding than a collision between aircraft and a drone is neglecting a few facts:
Aircraft under IFR over a certain size have TCAS (nothing to do with ADS-B out..) which enables them to avoid each other, while drones are completely out of the picture.
In the USA you would have f15s fighter jets to shoot it down. Nice view up there
Very neat footage!
This is awesome love it, didn't realise it was possible to send Mavic Pro up that high!
Dude, how do you break the limit set by DJI software? I'd love to do it, in my area it is safe :) Good jod m8!
If I were a betting man, the crop duster guys didn't give a shit one way or the other.

let me share my thoughts here. I don't think so. first of all thank you for your input to my channel !!! I would like to start with what you just said about the no limit autobahns.....please oh please let that NOT be true.....each and every country in this planet has some special characteristics.....going 300+ with a car in total safety is a German thing and should remain UNTOUCHED.... I think a lot of people are also missing the point that though a drone may not do serious to a single or twin engine aircraft (it could, but it may not), that drone falling from the sky after a collision could do some serious harm to people on the ground, further reinforcing extreme caution near populated areas. Not saying this could have been the case here, but I think it's important that we keep talking about the safety concerns so that we, as drone operators, can better put people's minds at ease.

to give u some feedback, it shows that message EVERY TIME i fly on the limit, with any of my 2 batteries. So I guess you can rule out some bad cell....
no, can't be that then
It usually happens a when you pull both sticks up and the motor speed is max. Nothing to worry about.
Toddlers follow rules.
Legends break rules.
Love your video dude
And innocents pay the price.
Oh, my god! I couldnt answer better!
wow you really do Live It...beautiful..that is amazing range on that Mav Pro!..i see it was getting weak but it still held on with no problems...it's so high everything almost looks fake from up there lol ...makes my little 400ft altitude look like child's play..but hey drones arent any fun unless you can blast em to the clouds every now and again..congrats my friend!
p.s. you live on an amazing island, great view, keep flying!
Thumbs Up!
thanks a lot!! I really appreciate it and I am glad you enjoyed it !
Great video and music is awesome 😎
Now you gotta re-make the video for flat earthers folks to get coordinates and weather forecast
*WOW! That was a really nice view from up there!*
so glad u like it!
Congratulations you recorded yourself breaking the law. XD
Casual Gaming Test you know the Greek law?
CESAR ROSENSTEIN im American it was a joke. Chill.
Lon Denard incorrect if you dont correspond with the FAA's guidelines and you are cought conequences Range from a fine to loosing your drone. If you dont belive me i would love to tell you the "guideline"
Lon Denard btw alot more than negligence charges would come up if you hit a plane.
How did you disable the altitude limit lock?
you can change its max height in the app. in the aircraft tab. but check your local rules for height limit
Awww. That was brief up there. I like these high altitude shots. It's like a live and high quality version of Google Earth/Map. I still see the water waves and boat trails.
I just wish DJI enables this high altitude modes outside high risk zones. My Mavic wouldn't mind stressing the motors as it is rarely used.
dont wait for DJI to do that. Just hack the flight parameters and enjoy it yourself.
In Poland, for such a flight, the penalty is 5 years in prison or 500 PLN fine.
In Greece it is not much better. The fine is high, and they are right.
500 PLN or 5 years in prison?? Unless my currency converter is completely wrong, 500 PLN seems the better choice :P
I'll take 500 PLN for the win, Alex.
No it's not. If you're not in any special zone (airports, military, etc), you can fly up to 9500 feet theoretically, but the drone should also remain visible for the observator. There is no law which would specify the ceiling altitude for VLOS drone flights.
Against any rules !
to you!! Congrats!!! Pass by to receive your trophy!
AmnScottNN I don’t wanna die on my motorbike, it’s just too fun, but with that said I would be honored to go out doing something I absolutely adore.
How about the battery drainage?? Is it better or worse going with 2mph less batterywise??
SALUTE TO YOU SIR ! GOTTA TRY IT !
Dave Durkee
The mavic will max out at 1640 feet without any mods,.
Anyway, thanks for nothing, I think I found how to mod the parameters myself in the assistant app under developer debugging, no help to you.
guys please stop insulting each other. We are here to help each other rather than using swearing as a solution. On my description I have a link to the channel "digdat0" . This guy has all the necessary info to modify your flight parameters. Keep in mind that: you need an earlier version of dji go 4 app, an earlier version of firmware (for both the drone and the rc) and an earlier version of dji assistant 2. He has videos for all the above as well as how to alter the parameters. Please let me know if you need any help.
nice drone
Hey nice video man! Isn’t there a limit for 500m on DJI’s? How do you unlock it?
there is a youtube channel link in the description above. You can find everything you need to modify your flight parameters there. Once you do that, sky is the limit....
B live it
No, actually the limit stays in the drone technology.
B live it So once we changed the parameters, we will be able to fly above 500m, is that right ?
Can you explain us step by step how did you modify height limit? And also did you modify some other parameters?
It was always there in google, my friends :) nolimitdronez.com
Had mine at 9,500ft awesome view!!
share with us your video!
Couldn't find the vid from 9k but I just took it up over 10k ft earlier today!!!
Awesome Video!!! nice work also ..
thanks a lot! I appreciate it honestly!
Checked a few more of your videos .... impressive bro ! Subbed !!!
Amazing.
When I was a kid,,, I had model rockets !
and yet here we are...still kids but with different toys!
Aaaaaaaaaaand........this is why Canada just made us all get licenses and register any drone over 250 grams.....
..i guess you really have legislate common sense...
But... there are some rules - and I think we all should act upon them. I doubt there is no height limit for small drones in US - so, thats about it.
I would also say, that optimal solution for all of us would be to make licence mandatory for all types of drones. Together with more easy rules and restrictions - since, you probably know what you do after registration and identification process.
Riley Wagner No possibility???? How?????
@@marcomoretti_music Which is ridiculous because these laws annoy the people who fly their drone normally and the people who do some forbidden flights will still ignore them. So, useless laws, but I guess at least your governement has the feel that they're actually doing something.... :D
What did you do to climb 2,500 meters? The DJI GO 4 app limits only to 500 meters. Please answer!
Who’s did you overcome the 500 meter limit? Awesome video
There is a youtube channel link in the description of the video that explains everything you need to know on how to hack your drone!!! After that sky is the limit .... :)
