Chaos in Santander! Massive Floods Swept Away Homes, Cars in Medellin Colombia
Heavy rains have affected 186 municipalities across 27 departments in Colombia, provoking floods that have impacted over 46,000 families. The departments with the most emergencies are La Guajira, Huila, Choco, Norte de Santander and Cauca. The mayor of Medellín confirmed that the severe flooding reported in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, northeast of the city, was caused by damage to one of the main water pipes, specifically at Carrera 52 and Calle 99 , on the road to Zamora.
