Yes! Hinoki wood has been popping up this year. BBW had a Hinoki Wood and Lavender that's really nice! Voluspa has gorgeous packaging. It's unfortunate that you haven't had good throw with them. I've not tried the hearth size candles just because I don't know where I could safely put them with cats. But I might someday. I've used quite a lot of Voluspa since aprox 2010. But I've only used the metal tin 3 wicks and the reed diffusers. Have you tried those? I know they are not quite as pretty packaging but I've never once had throw issues with them. They're some of the strongest most consistent performing candles I've ever used. Several friends here use those tins too and I can go into one friend's big apartment with vaulted ceilings and smell the one candle she has going on the coffee table the entire time. I hear others online say they struggle with throw for the jars as well though. It's unfortunate because they have some really wonderful fragrances. I've not actually tried this scent from them but am intrigued by your description. My favorites are the Goji Tarocco Orange, Mokara, and what used to be called Champagne Rose. Thanks for sharing such a detailed review. I don't comment as often as I should, but I really love your channel! ❤️ Have a wonderful holiday!
Welcome back from vacation! Even though Voluspa candles aren’t that strong, they still suck me in with their packaging. I do wish they were a bit stronger. I definitely think the 3 wick tins are stronger than the glass vessels. I’ve eyed the large one for a while. I regularly buy luxury candles like Byredo, Jo Malone, Diptyque but I did buy a Cire Trudon. I think it’s like 9 oz for $110. I really want a Fornasetti but idk about dropping $200+. The vessels are gorgeous. My dream one day is to buy a large diptyque it Jo Malone but the price is outrageous.
Welcome back! Hope you had a great time in Hawaii. I've only purchased and burned one voluspa candle in the scent Blonde Tabac after smelling it at my sister in laws. This was several years ago and it was a three wick in an oblong shaped container. I can't remember if it was tin or glass. I do know it didn't perform well in my house or I'd have repurchased from the brand.
They have some GORGEOUS containers and glass, BUT the strength and throw are not the best. It's really too bad because they are stunning and if they had a bit more oomph I could see myself spending a lot more money with them. That being said, I can still appreciate them as a lighter option for smaller spaces. They are a fun treat every once in a while for a special place in the house.
Welcome home! The packaging is gorgeous 😊. A friend gifted me a small one of these in the scent Baltic Amber. I’m waiting til after the holidays to burn it , but I’ve never tried anything from Voluspa.
Hi Melanie I hope y’all had fun in Hawaii. My friend gave me a couple of these candles for My birthday. Such pretty candles. I burned in my room was light but did enjoy it
Came across video and watched again! I've been interested in and have been buying a few Voluspa candles lately. I love the goji terraco orange scent! Have you tried it yet? 😊. Mike. P.S. The Fall is here and the holidays are fast approaching! Enjoy!!
Hope you had fun! I hate when great packaging and high price doesn't match low performance. I love the look of Volupsa candle's but won't buy the hearth candles if they can't give me scent with their basic large candles.
Hawaii was fun. Stella had the best time playing in the water every day. That girl is a fish. I spent far more time in the pool than I wanted to lol! But it was amazing to see her having a great time.
I’ve never tried Voluspa before. Just bought the Bourbon Vanille 3 wick Grande Maison online from Bloomingdales since it was 25% off. Just received and was surprised it didn’t come in a box. That’s ok, it’s for me. Can’t wait to burn.
No box. Maybe the larger candles don’t come in a box? Anyways, that’s ok. It’s for me and because it was on sale I’m ok with that. I’ll give it a try. Never considered this brand before but watched your video and thought on a sale, what do I have to lose.

I know, their packaging is probably some of the most beautiful!
Happy new year to you and your family Melanie!!! 😊😊😊. Michael

Hi Mike! I have not tried goji terraco orange but it is on my list to try at some point! I'd like to try their 3 wicks.

I like this one in the 3 wick, but the vessel isn’t as nice.
Oh bummer!
❤👍
I spent $76 on a Lafco candle
