I use magnum 8 religiously.(Mydentity certified stylist)I find you only get the maximum lift with 1:1 ratio.
Using 20 vol mixed 1:2 on a test strand with no body heat will only really get you 3-4 levels max. 30 vol 1:1 is generally where you would get that 8 level lift. (What I use on Hispanic clients that have dark course hair)
The developer is lavender scented.
