It is ok for what it is, an old style XC course, and good for fitness on an "analogue" bike. I do not think the many long uphill fire roads do it any favours though. With the number of E-Bikes about in there now, they would be better creating new tracks adjacent to the fire road to link in with the point were it originally goes back off road again.
@@teamdoa Dalby don't care about proper mountain bikers, they want family bikers that are daft enough to pay £10 to get in, do Blue routes and spend money.
@@elvingtonred Yeah, I built the official downhill course there with some other guys many moons ago but that came to an end as they wouldn't let us go where we wanted to go with it.
The Red route is terrible! Badly maintained, too long, uninteresting.
Take note from Hamsterley Forest, work with trail builders, not against them.
