I've always loved the recorder.I like her playing,because she plays it WELL,but portrays the melody simply.Nothing is over-embellished/she's not showing off.Thus,you get to hear a beautiful instrument,played by someone who's worthy of it.
Yes! It is quite astounding at times, just how difficult it can be to find a work performed in such a fashion. I cannot tell you how many videos that I have clicked off of because the instrumentalist decided to over-embellish at every possible opportunity.
