How do we know the veracity of those submissions though? Obviously it would take effort to really confirm them, and I’m not saying I think they’re all fake, I’m just genuinely curious. It’s good they’re not just from Reddit, that does help a little. I wanna know how the dev learns the stories before making them into the games, because it’s so amazing but terrifying that they’re based on real stuff.

@caratcake7704 for me at least I think the reason why I’m a bit more forgiving towards curly is because I think he represents the everyday man. Or at least what probably 99% of us would do in the situation that he was put through. Because honestly, what would you actually have done? We can say “oh we could’ve done this” very easily because where are the outsiders looking in. what would you actually do in that situation? And also, yeah, I do think Jim you really would’ve walked to the plank if curly didn’t do anything, it’s unfortunately a very common manipulation tactic, “ if you do ___ then I’m going to kms”
@xuanphamehe It really boiled down to a person who did significant harm getting by almost with little to no consequence, compared to a person who did a human oversight led to their extensive suffering and inability to get closure themselves. The parallels within the themes of responsibility is the reason why I love this game.

You don’t have to play the 90s and 2000s games you can play just the remakes. Resident Evil 5 and 6 are considered the ‘drop off’ of the series for writing stuff, Ethan Winters appears in 7 and 8.

It was a year anniversary when they decided to meet up again.
There were about 14 miners who were saved from the collapse but turned into wendigo because they ate the other dead miners.
They did change the graphics in the latest version, but they also made a few minor tweaks and added a new ending.
I love the story of Until Dawn, because if you weren't paying attention to the right thing and didn't focus on the wendigo, you'd just think it was some "teens on a mountain with a killer on it" type game. Also, I'm a Hannah hater. I don't think she deserved to fall off the cliff, BUT she knew her friend was dating her crush (Mike), tried to sleep with him, and then, ON PURPOSE, ran outside into the snowstorm hoping Mike would chase after her, which he almost does.
All evidence is from the game. The magazine Hannah was reading told her to run away to get the boy to chase her, along with her personal notes and things found around the game.
That's why Sam will always be my girl. She really can't die until the end scene with the wendigo.

DBD is probably the highest likelihood for survivability. It’s a mix of run, hide and objective completion, you technically can’t die because the entity won’t let you stay dead so you have the rest of eternity to understand how to survive and get better at repairing the generators.

2 has two protagonists with an A and B campaign to choose from for both characters (Leon/Claire), so at the very least play the game twice.
7, 8 are Ethan’s story
I also recommend playing Resident Evil 3 but it’s a different protagonist (Jill from Re1) and isn’t largely connected to the others listed
At some point I recommend playing all RE games from 1-9 and other spinoffs to get the overall story but 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 are usually the games newcomers to RE play.

Grizzy if you want to play Resident Evil and get a complete story out it here is the order you should play the games:
2, 3, 4, 6, and 9 For the Leon Kennedy Saga
7 and 8 for the Ethan Saga
Finally 1 and 5 are the Chris Redfield saga.
7 and 8 do reference Chris so if you want to learn why he is important than I do recommend going 1, 5, 7, and then 8.
But that is your choice.
Funny thing, is Ghost Face in BDB is different from the movie characters. Hes 6+ ft tall, can essentially mask his presence and noise he makes, and is strong as shit. Not in your supernatural sense, but like human sense. Enough to where hes easily overpowering 90% of people he comes across. Plus, since hes a stalking type, he normally waits and watches. Will hit you qith false attacks to test you, or lead you on

There WERE a few changes in the new one, but the only really notable one was the end scene. The hall scene WAS in the OG, because that's where Mike can get the wolf buddy

For the Ironbark lookout story, i can say with 99% certainty, it wasnt dramatized at all. You ask any Park or Forest Ranger that has some years put in about the cults, especially deep in National parks, they will either avoid the subject like the plague or will acknowledge it & actively avoid checking certain parts because of them.
It is one of the very few subjects i wouldnt ever fuck around with, because the stories go from coast to coast and back to the 50's and probably further.
