Yosuke learned the hard way not to brag. For reals, that's not his wealth, it's his parents wealth. Also wealthy people/elite people tend to be muted about it, and actually get on with life. Fuga on the other hand was humble, even when he was successful, he never bragged.
I don't know what year this story takes place, but they seriously don't have a means to screen their incoming applications (if even possible), unless it implies that they require very little to apply. And I wouldn't trust a host manager that appears rude and inhospitable over an honest mistake that someone tried to clear up. Imagine what he would've done to a poor lass who is unfortunately left behind to pay the bill of an entire group (against her will). Meanwhile, Yosuke can't find a job, as his parents heard what he did, and he got cut off from their family, disowned, and written out of the will. He tries to vow revenge against Fugo, and he tries to o f f him, via a car chase, but the Shinkansen has different ideas for the plans of Yosuke, and, well, c r a s h a n d b u r n became all too literal of a definition for Yosuke.
It's funny how people brag about their parent's money but they don't have it in them to make their own money because they never got any skills to make their own money. It's a shame really they always think that their parents money will last until they lose it all.
