    Great video mate, thanks. Could be a silly question - but if you were doing you set out on a sloped block like this, especially if it was sloping diagonally through the lot - could you still measure your diagonals on the strings to check for square? Or would the reading be thrown out since the string lines aren't actually horizontal? Hope this makes sense.

      Great question. Difficult sites are always going to be a challenge when trying to get a building project out of the ground. One option is to square up a smaller section of the set out first and extend the lines through, but a much easier method is to get a surveyor to pin all the corners. Then you can set the lines over them. It is worth the expense on a difficult site.
