Anyone else find his voice as his character in Millions super sexy, but in real life it’s surprisingly high and sqeaky?🤔 He actually giggles! I love him.
When I was 24 and had my first apartment in Brooklyn on my own I had the pleasure of living five blocks from Paul Giamatti’s occasional bar. I only saw him there once. And Gabriel Burns there once as well, before kids took over in last five years, but I’ll always remember ignoring Paul Giamatti while he had one drink in the corner 13 years ago :)
Ill never forget the time I almost ran into Cameron Diaz at JFK, and I mean literally ran inot her...we both side stepped each other like NFL running backs avoiding a tackle. My life is now about finding any moment I can somehow insert that run-in into conversation, or trolling you tube videos, etc, she might be in...so to tell this story. Like it somehow links us in life. That she often thinks about that guy who almost ran me over...
61lastchild my best celebrity experience was getting Leo DiCaprio to wink at me when I was on a first date and he was ordering drinks for a big table where he was clearly having a business meeting to finance something :) obviously the date understood me ignoring him to make eye contact with Leo 😂
Paul has always been so damn cute. Talented as all get out, of course. I’ve seen much of his work, which I admire. But….he’s so cute. I only just realized he and I have the exact same birthday. June 6, 1967. I knew we were friends.
This makes a lot of sense. "The Orville" has had celebrity cameos before. Giamatti could play a Moclan (the most Klingon-like species we've seen), or if he wants to be a bad guy, maybe a Krill.

I want to see "Neuromancer" by William Gibson, or "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson. Fun fact, Neal is also the chief futurist for the Magic Leap project.
Anyone who discounts this guy as a leading man thoroughly underestimates his chops and presence and charisma. Totally leading man material. He hasn't been a mere supporting actor in some time.
The fact that Paul Giamatti doesn't know what the fuck is going on in the plot anymore is proof that things have really gotten nuts. That said, I'm loving the show, currently trying to finish binge watching Season 4 on Netflix before Season 5 drops.
Paul's one of my favorites. Free-range Giamatti is pretty descriptive. Hope he gets a really cool Sci-fi script someday. Even if he did something more with wine again would be cool. Always wished Mondovino could be adapted as a drama series, but who would be the protagonist/antagonist in it? Years after watching it Hubert deMontille is lovable, honorable, memorable. Aime Guibert hillarious. Who would be the heavy? One of the Mondavis? Michel Rolland for certain.
I wish Stephen would add a little "that doesn't get any applause apparently" or "nobody knows that yet" when he mentions a guest's project and the crowd doesn't react at all ^^ Just to make them realize how picky they are with their applause in some regards but when you just mention healthcare for all or Ocasio-Cortez, there's always an instant applause break for NO DAMN REASON WHATSOEVER
Me too ......i use to be very passionate but i feel dry now ....but due to the highlights of the rest of the episode on this season....he's back to being attorney general..and i think there will be a great build up.....

He actually giggles!
I love him.
This guy is a great actor. Love his character
He is one of the main reason why I watch billions. His character is so likes us full of flaws but still tries to the right thing. 😍
He was for me, but then I realized how outstanding Damian Lewis is. Never seen him in anything before this show and now I watch for him
I have been a MASSIVE fan of his for so long. I've only just found Billions and on mid season 2. He is PHENOMENAL. The whole cast is.
Paul Giamatti has some of the best "cursing" lines ever Private Parts.
Always love to see Paul Giamatti.
Paul Giamatti would make a great Ferengi
@Diana MitfordHe is a great villain in Shoot 'em up.
He was the villain in big fat liar. He was rhino in amazing spiderman
No such luck anymore. He'd make a fabulous Krill thou. You know Orville :D
i was just thinking this!!!!
He would also make a great Red Max from Wacky Races.
You can always tell when Stephen enjoys his guest! 😍
President John Adams everybody
No, that's Harvey Pekar.
I lived him in John Adams.
I thought that was Harry Tjarks, finally made good.
Yes! That's where I know him from, where I first saw him.
I watch the John Adams miniseries once every 9 months because it's that good.
I'd love to see Paul in literally any science fiction movie!
Props to the band for the Pulp Fiction intro. Made me remember how much I missed that CD forever borrowed by a friend.
Such a great actor, he was brilliant in Billions.
I love his voice.
Someone tell Paul Giamatti that Doc Brown played a Klingon and that there's still hope! :)
That was my first thought too... :)
Mr. Giamatti is such a good actor. I enjoy Billions so much!
I could watch that man for hours, because he's a beautiful loon and he brings that to every role.
Giamatti, America's sweetheart 💞

He smile and laugh here 10 x more than in 6 seasons of billions!
Giamatti should be in a buddy movie that takes place in the wine country, he'd great in it!
Such a great actor and so cute!

Seth McFarlane please cast this dude.
This makes a lot of sense. "The Orville" has had celebrity cameos before. Giamatti could play a Moclan (the most Klingon-like species we've seen), or if he wants to be a bad guy, maybe a Krill.
Still hoping he will do Vertical, the sequel to Sideways.
John Adams is such a brilliant show. I was blown away
As a masochist, this is incredibly amusing to watch. :D
"Take more pleasure in it!"
You heard him, Seth MacFarlane: Paul Giamatti for an alien on The Orville! :)
Paul Giamatti would be a pretty cool Riddler.
@Alien Bacon They had him in mind to replace Heath Ledger as the Joker. I think he would have done a great job in that role, but it didn’t pan out.
Paul Giamatti is a brilliant actor. Been a fan since American Splendor.
Chuck is so my fav!! And what brilliant writing
Billions!!!!! Love the freaking show and this was an amazing interview!!
he should really do a movie with quentin tarantino...QT re-wrote the script for his feature debut ,but they havent worked together since then.
can we please not give QT any more work until he gets over the violent way he depicts women.
@@grrrlishgrin ??

QT fanboys...enough. hes not that good, he just diddles your dopey immature, and impotent male fantasies.
@@grrrlishgrin Wtf are you on about? He depicts everyone violently. Stop looking at the world thru a keyhole, you're reaching too
How did they not title this "Paul Giamatti Wants to be a Klingon?"
Be finally gets the chance to be in a sci-fi production. I'm looking more and more forward to this show.
Paul was already a silly blue guy in Big Fat Liar
He’s an amazing actor
We gotta get Paul Giamatti onto Star Trek Discovery
He was also in Ripper, a cyberpunk FMV game starring... Well, a whole lot of people. It's wild.
Since we're casting Dune now, hey, Thufir Hawat maybe?
Jaytheradical He would be perfect for Thufir!
I know Rainn Wilson already has the role.. but Paul would play a great Harry Mudd.
Yes! Harcourt Fenton Mudd needs a movie! and New Message...this may be your most brilliant comment of them all! Ahead, Warp Speed (please).
The episodes of Lodge 49 that he was in were the best of that show.
Ooh, I wonder if Giamatti is a Trekkie which would only make me love him even more.
Love this guy. Very underrated actor.
Yeah it was actually the riddler that teamed up with Batman because he was a consulting private detective for a while. It was really interesting.
I want to see "Neuromancer" by William Gibson, or "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson. Fun fact, Neal is also the chief futurist for the Magic Leap project.
Both would be very interesting viewing.
Anyone who discounts this guy as a leading man thoroughly underestimates his chops and presence and charisma. Totally leading man material. He hasn't been a mere supporting actor in some time.
Please, Seth MacFarlane, bring Paul Giamatti into The Orville.
"Those little blue guys" - It's a bit specist
I LOVE PAUL GIAMMATI!!!
Brilliant, brilliant actor.
I love Paul Giamatti.
I'm surprised he didn't mention when he was in Tim Burton's planet of the apes. Plus his little cameo in the second Amazing Spider-man.
♥️Paul♥️
Paul Giamatti already has experience playing a silly blue guy.
How can anyone NOT like this guy.
i fell in love with Paul Giamatti in Shoot ‘Em Up
Such a crush on this guy 😍
Me too
Paul Giamatti AND "Beaver who can tell you the exact flavor of wood notes in that 1997 Bottle of Chilean Pinot Noir".
I want Paul Giamatti as Hari Seldon in a Foundation adaptation.
Fantastic actor
Paul Giamatti would be the best Riddler ever.
The thought of Paul as Batman was too much, I squealed like a hyena
The fact that Paul Giamatti doesn't know what the fuck is going on in the plot anymore is proof that things have really gotten nuts. That said, I'm loving the show, currently trying to finish binge watching Season 4 on Netflix before Season 5 drops.
He was in John Dies at the End and that was science fiction... how did he forget about that?
Let’s not forget that Paul Giamatti played a silly, blue bad guy in Big Fat Liar
I would love nothing better than to follow these two through a used book store.
Maybe he could be descended from a Vulcan and a Klingon: "Live long and hold your blood wine."
"Hint of things to come..."
I'd love to see Paul Giamatti in a Blade Runner type of futuristic Sci-Fi film.
science fiction movie? he was in Planet of the Apes for crying out loud. or did he just want to forget about that? he he
"Never been in any Sci-Fi"? What about "Cold Souls" and "John Dies At the End"? Those are totally SF, Paul! I hope you're being facetious!
I love Paul. Such a great actor.
Rhoades Rocks!!! 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Paul should be cast in the upcoming Dune films
Great actor

*It doesnt help if you whisper*
Only artist who really would like an autograph. That's the guy!

Billions....such a underrated show
I love Paul!!!
not dangerous???
what about Shoot em Up???
he was a great villain! lol
Smith: What's up doc? (takes a bite out of a carrot)
Hertz: Oh You're a Wascally Wabbit
6:55 (Insert "Joined the Cast of Dune" meme)
he did use the word Prescience, which is important within the Dune universe
_Thunderpants_ is one science-fiction that he was in.
"I'm a smudge of excrement on a tissue surging out to sea with a million tons of raw sewage"
just love paul giamatti... he's been in sci-fi &fantasy but never an alien ! A new role awaits on Star Trek dear Paul :)
Thank Lucy O'Ball for Star Wars even existing.
Would love to see Mr. Giamatti play Harvey Pekar in a sequel where that giant out of Cleveland graces us with his presence till age 100+
I wish Stephen would add a little "that doesn't get any applause apparently" or "nobody knows that yet" when he mentions a guest's project and the crowd doesn't react at all ^^

Honestly I think one of his best scenes was in the ‘Fred Clause and Clyde’ scene
Love paul
I'd love to see him as a nutty professor. Even better if he'd be an astronaut.
Love the show Billions #1 in our house "Chuck Rhoades, Bobby Axel Rod, Wendy, Taylor Mason" The best on TV
Loved Lady in the Water!
Hollywood, get this man his sci-fi role, STAT!
I didn't know that guy was so funny. What a character
Free-Range Paul Giamatti From Space!
It saddens me to say this, but I think "Billions" is running out of steam...
Затворник Шестипалый I don't think so...Season Four will be a total adventure! Are you a troll?
Why?
Dah
Me too ......i use to be very passionate but i feel dry now ....but due to the highlights of the rest of the episode on this season....he's back to being attorney general..and i think there will be a great build up.....
No one gonna mention "John Dies at the End". Great weird sci-fi movie
Maybe that golden shower scene was just prep work for eventually playing Donnie in the sure to be made movie ZAZ movie about the Trump Administration.
Regime. Nothing administration about this Dotard regime.
I would pay to watch that
Stephen is not my favorite interviewer but he is always awesome with Paul since he learns Paul is into the same geeky novels lol
Please Seth MacFarlane offer this man a role in The Orville!!!!!!!!!!
Love Lodge 49!
