- Der Flashmob fand im Rahmen der dritten "penderecki musik:akademie westfalen " 2014 in Borken statt. 65 internationale Musikstudenten des MLW Festival Orchesters & mehr als 100 Sänger des m:lw Festival Chores spielten es in Borken/Westfalen, dem Heimatort der Akademie.

One of the most sublime and beautiful pieces of music ever written. It never fails to awe me whenever I hear it.
Could've done without the electric guitar, though.

My favorite part of the piece is the harmony that the violas and bassoons add to the cellos and double basses

The starting guitar was a great touch...The electric guitar, not so much.
The acoustic guitar worked for me, but the electric one just over whelmed the rest of the orchestra. But it still sounded good

Excellent. But we are now tired of 9th symphony flashmobs. Have a look at something more musically demanding, Such as the wonderful Rossini flashmob in Rome ( utube). Enjoy.
