Tufuga Ta Tatau Workshop 2019

This video is a result of an inaugural Ta Tatau Health and Safety Workshop attended by Tufuga ta tatau from both Samoa and New Zealand, held in Auckland on 25th of June 2019. This video should be watched in conjunction with Le Va’s tatau factsheet. Whilst this factsheet focusses more on health and safety practice, cultural and spiritual processes associated with customary tattooing are captured in the video.
