@@SkuraWeekly I watched it so many times. On every other run I let off throttle a second sooner. For some reason that run I stayed in it way longer. Then hesitated and froze once I realized I was going too fast. Had I stayed in the throttle near the end I could have pulled away from the wall. Sometimes it all moves too fast to manage haha Part of the reason its so addicting is the endless challenge!

this was my first ever drift event i attended. I got to talk to you right after that dancing clip at the end on why you went beams over 20v on this car. That event made me go buy an ae71 wagon and it needs the diff welded still but hopefully I can slide with you at an event this year

Beams vs 20v? I had a 20v ae86 for a bit. Loved it but curious what the advantages are going beams. Guessing 2 thenths of a liter more help torque.

So cool to hear you got you’re own car after coming out! Drifting is so much hard work and dedication but so rewarding. Was nice meeting you I remember chatting about this for sure. I’m sure we will meet again!
RANDOM STUFF GARAGE the 20v is a perfect platform for learning. You HAVE to learn how to drive super fast and commit to make it do the thing. Once you max out the 20v then I would say upgrade to beams. It still requires commitment, but you can do bigger corners and tracks if you drive it like a 20v. But yep you nailed it the extra torque is really the big difference!
